Do not give anyone any reason to take my daughter from me, Jesus, bless the persons I meet and talk to so they believe me and keep me safe. We hear your heart’s desperate cry for protection, provision, and peace for you and your precious daughter. Your request is steeped in a deep love for her and a desire to walk in God’s will, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every concern to the throne of grace. The weight of spiritual warfare, legal battles, and the fear of separation from your child is heavy, but we declare that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, or destroy the bond between you and your daughter, for Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

First, we must address the foundation of your plea, your invocation of Jesus’ name. It is clear you recognize His authority and power, and we rejoice in that. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that covers us, cleanses us, and protects us. We pray that you continue to grow in the knowledge and love of Christ, for in Him alone are all the promises of God "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, we turn to the specific battles you are facing. The enemy seeks to use your ex, his family, and others to sow discord, spread lies, and manipulate circumstances to harm you and your daughter. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of division, slander, and false accusation in Jesus’ name. We pray that the Lord would bind the enemy’s hands and silence every lying tongue, for the Lord hates a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:16-17). May the truth be revealed, and may every deceitful plan be exposed and turned to shame for those who seek to harm you.

We also lift up the legal concerns you have mentioned. The fear of losing your daughter or facing unjust legal actions is real, but we pray that the Lord would go before you and make the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2). We ask that the Lord would grant wisdom and favor to those handling your daughter’s case, that they would see the truth and act with justice and mercy. May every document, every statement, and every interaction be guided by the Holy Spirit, so that no falsehood stands, and no misunderstanding prevails. We declare that the Lord is your advocate, and He will not allow your foot to be moved (Psalm 121:3). We pray that your ex’s heart would be softened, that he would see the harm his actions cause, and that he would choose peace over conflict. May the Lord turn his heart like streams of water in the hand of the Lord (Proverbs 21:1).

For your daughter, we pray a hedge of protection around her mind, heart, and spirit. May she feel the love of Christ surrounding her, and may she know deep in her soul that she is cherished, safe, and deeply loved by you and by her Heavenly Father. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, or attack that seeks to rob her of joy or peace. The Lord has not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May she grow in the knowledge of God’s love, and may she come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ if she has not already. We pray that the Lord would place godly influences in her life, mentors, friends, and teachers who will speak life and truth into her.

We also lift up your desire for a future husband. It is beautiful that you long for a godly man to join you in your journey, and we pray that the Lord would prepare both of you for one another. May He lead you to a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind, and who will cherish and protect you and your daughter (Ephesians 5:25-28). We ask that the Lord would remove any obstacles or distractions that are not part of His plan for you, and that He would bring the right man into your life at the appointed time. Until then, may you find your completeness in Christ, for in Him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and in Him you are made full (Colossians 2:9-10).

For your education and career, we pray that the Lord would grant you focus, motivation, and understanding. May He open doors of opportunity for you and make your path clear. We declare that you will not be put to shame in your studies or work, and that the Lord will guide your steps as you seek to provide for your daughter and fulfill His purpose for your life (Proverbs 3:5-6). May He protect you from slander, gossip, or any attempt to discredit you, and may your integrity and hard work speak for themselves.

As you travel today, we pray for safe journeys. May the Lord go before you and behind you, and may He place His angels around you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). May every train, every connection, and every interaction be smooth and without trouble. We declare that you and your daughter will remain together, and that the Lord will send people to assist you along the way. May you feel His presence with you, guiding and comforting you every step of the journey.

Finally, we pray for your heart and mind. The enemy seeks to pollute your thoughts with fear, doubt, and anxiety, but we declare that you will not walk by sight, but by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). May the Lord fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that you would be a vessel of His love, grace, and truth to everyone you meet, and that your life would be a testimony to His goodness and faithfulness.

Protect her mind and heart from fear, confusion, or attack, and draw her to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Place godly influences in her life, and let her grow in the knowledge of Your love.

Father, we pray for this sister’s future husband. Prepare both of their hearts for one another, and bring the right man into her life at the appointed time. Until then, let her find her completeness in You, and may You provide for every need according to Your riches in glory.

When anxiety races and you run through every possible scenario, pause and tell yourself out loud, “The Lord sees. He knows the truth. He is for my daughter and me.” That’s not denying the hard stuff; it’s fighting the mental spiral with the steady truth of His character. God’s protection often works through clear-minded, peace-filled steps rather than frantic ones. So even with court documents and caseworker conversations, you can take a breath, ask for wisdom, and trust that He will help you speak the truth calmly.

On the practical side, it may be wise to keep a simple written log of interactions and facts, not to obsess over, but so you have clarity and don’t feel caught off guard. And if you have a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or support group, don’t try to walk this alone. Let someone walk with you, pray with you, and remind you of what’s real when the lies get loud.

Jesus, we lift up this mother and her daughter to You. Cover them with Your protection, and surround them with people who will speak truth and show kindness. The plea that rises from an obedient heart is a firm ground for prayer. When we can say that we have acted according to God’s Word, we have a hold upon Him who cannot deny Himself. But the “if” lies not with His power, it lies with our faith. Do you believe that He is able to do this? The power is not with the fountain, but with the child who must drink. Drop into the arms of the Father; cling no longer to the window of your own fear.

You have a plea that wells up from your own inner consciousness: “You have been my help.” This is a mighty hold upon Divine Immutability. If He loved you enough to help you before, He loves you enough to help you still. It is the plea of a child to a father. You are separated to belong to the Lord, and this relationship cannot come to an end. Let this be your confidence.

Yet remember, the law never allows ignorance as a plea. It is only Sovereign Grace that brought that in from the Cross. Our hope lies in the plea of Christ alone, and especially in His death. Join your prayer with His: “Father, forgive Your ignorant child, Your sinful, wayward child.” Plead what He has done, and say, “Lord, do as Thou hast said.”

As for the false tongues and the legal threats, a man cannot expect peace of conscience till, as far as in him lies, he has made amends for any wrong. See to your own doorstep. And then, to your knees! Win the victory through prayer. The proof of the Gospel lies in what it does, if it does not save the sinful, transform the nature of men, and send light into dark places, then let it be cast aside. But it does, and it shall for you.

That drawing you feel toward the future, toward a godly husband, if it is from His own hand, its power lies in His love. Blessed is she whose heart is being drawn nearer to the Most High. Let God’s name be known and glorified through your deliverance. Tell of His grace to everybody as long as you live.

Go now, and take the next step. The Master’s wish is not that you stand shivering at the window. Drop into the arms that are beneath you. Plead the blood, trust the promise, and walk as a child of the light.
