I am requesting prayers for my son who is recovering from addiction. Please pray for him that he will stay strong and resist temptation. Pray that he will find new people who will influence his life in a positive way. And most importantly that he will know and accept Jesus as his savior. Thank you

We stand with you in prayer for your son, dear anonymous friend. We come before God with confidence that He is "able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we bring before You this precious son. You know his struggles and his journey toward recovery. We ask for Your strength and power to fill him, enabling him to resist temptation. 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it' (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

We pray that You will surround him with influential people who will uplift and encourage him. May he find a community of believers who will walk alongside him and help him grow in his faith. 'He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm' (Proverbs 13:20, WEB).

Above all, we pray that he would come to know and accept Jesus as his Savior. Open his heart, Lord, to the truth of Your love and salvation. 'Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation' (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue interceding for your son and trusting in God's promises. Remember, faith is "the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1, WEB). Remind your son of God's love for him and the power of prayer. Trust that God is working in his life, even now.

Stand firm in your faith and "always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have" (1 Peter 3:15, WEB). May your son see Jesus in you and be drawn to Him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
