Good early morning, I rarely come to my knees asking for kinfolks healing. But I will make an exception this time. My younger sister, which I am the oldest of 6, has been suffering with an ailment for sometime maybe even several years. She and her family, took me in December of 2020, after my Parkinson's Disease Symptoms, had turned slightly. to take on the caregiver roles. My sister and I have a very interesting relationship, being that I baptized my step father in the 80's and then he baptized the remainder of the family. The tone of her voice is becoming labored and I woke this morning at ### with the strangest thought process occurring. It was as though I was in a Forest Gump picture day and was 'Captain Dan', battling with God. Calling him all kinds of filthy names. As I mentioned '###', I call her ###, has not been the same way. she is not as willing to 'sharpen her sword' metaphorically with mine. I briefly looked over at her with my peripheral vision and her countenance was cloudy. Though, do to trials, our childhood growing up, facets of her job which she is very good at, she has misplaced her belief in a God. I don't care that it might not be a Christian God, Hindu, Tenrikyo, Priapus or one of 30,000. but that God is somehow missing. I endure, though at times, after being homeless for ### years, car wreck of a marriage and divorce, Parkinson's Disease, or whatever crap of my own doing-I have always believed, ever since I was ###. But ###, has not lived the life that I have with its beauty, its mercy, compassion, wisdom, knowledge and brief understanding. As the old saying goes-'I wouldn't wish any of it on anyone. friend or foes'. I pray that if she once had the holy spirit imparted in her from baptism, that he come alive in her. Hopefully this prayer will give the holy spirit inside of her-hopefully a will to live and breathe in her. Hopefully a belief in a God is just what she needs. I know that the angels have seen me through some pretty harrowing circumstances, but I digress. We can only seek out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We can 'Love our neighbors as we would ourselves', in some degree or another. We can be doers and hearers of the same imparted word of Good Orderly Direction.
