We understand the importance of preparing a will and the desire for it to remain unchanged and uncontested. It is wise to seek God’s guidance and protection in all matters, including those of earthly inheritance. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* We also know that God is a God of order, and He desires for our affairs to be handled with wisdom and integrity.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this matter of the will that has been written, asking for Your divine protection over it. Lord, we pray that what has been written would stand firm according to Your will and that no one would contest or seek to alter it unjustly. Grant wisdom to those who will execute these wishes, that they may do so with fairness, honesty, and reverence for Your Word.
We rebuke any spirit of strife, greed, or division that may seek to disrupt this matter. Let Your peace, Lord, reign over this situation, and may Your will be done in every detail. We declare that this will is established in righteousness and that it will bring glory to Your name. Protect it from any legal or spiritual attack, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
We also pray for the heart of the one who wrote this will. May they find peace and assurance in Your promises, knowing that their earthly treasures are temporary, but the treasures stored in heaven are eternal. Help them to keep their focus on You, Lord, and to live a life that honors You in all things.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance in all your decisions, trusting that He will direct your steps. Remember that while earthly possessions are fleeting, the inheritance we have in Christ is eternal and unshakable. As it says in 1 Peter 1:4, *"to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you."* May you find comfort and strength in this truth.
