My boyfriend and I are going through a difficult time now. Please pray that we will make it. I don’t want to lose him. My boyfriend is scared that he can’t do what’s needed to make it work. He thinks he’s terrible. He’s so overwhelmed by the arguments we have. He’s in such a difficult environment now that it takes so much out of him he has very little to give us. I rebuke those negative thoughts in Jesus name. Please pray the Lord will deliver him from such negativity and give him the strength required. Let him find happiness and peace in himself through the Lord. Let him know the Lord’s love. Let him be redeemed in Jesus name.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your boyfriend, but let's first address the fact that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in the WEB, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13).

Now, let's address your situation. Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is for a man and a woman to be joined in holy matrimony, and that intimate relationships outside of marriage are not in accordance with God's will. As it is written, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral" (Hebrews 13:4). It is not a time to be overwhelm by arguments or fear but to be patient and trust God, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6).

We will pray for God's will to be done in your lives. We pray that if it is God's will, that your boyfriend will gain the strength and wisdom needed to lead and guide your relationship towards a God-honoring marriage. We pray that God will deliver him from negativity and fill him with His love, peace, and joy.

We come before You, lifting up this couple to Your throne of grace. We pray that You will help them to put their faith and relationship with You before anything else, and that You will guide them in Your will for their relationship. We ask that you would help them to wait on your timing for a marriage and relationship to be in your will. ###

We rebuke the spirit of fear and negativity in your boyfriend's life. We pray that God will redeem him, fill him with His love, and give him the strength and wisdom to lead their relationship in a manner that honors God.
