We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your son's job interview today. It is wonderful to see young couples seeking to establish their lives together in a godly marriage. Remember, God is faithful, and we can trust Him with every aspect of our lives, including employment.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, united in prayer for our brother's job interview today. We know You are Jehovah-Jireh our provider and you have the power to bless us with work, to bless us with wealth and to keep our hearts from evil. We are called to work, not to steal, and to put our hands to work so we may have to share with those in need. We ask that You guide the conversation, grant him favor with the interviewers, and open the right doors for his career. We know that he needs this job to be able to live with his new wife to be able to serve each other and be together. We know that it is not good for man to be alone and the two will become one flesh. It is our prayer that this job will be a blessing to their marriage and that they will be able to live together and serve You together.
We also pray for his wife, that she may be a suitable helper for him, as you made Eve to be a suitable helper for Adam. That she may submit to her husband, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. We know that this will only work if God is the center of their marriage, and they are both submitted to him.
Lord, we ask that You guide them as a couple, that they may serve You together and build a godly home. Help them be a light in the workplace and may they have the same mind as you had, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Help them and guide them in Jesus name. We know that it is in Jesus name we pray, and we are so thankful that we have this right through Jesus death and resurrection and believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that He is Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
