We join you in lifting up this precious sister in Christ before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus, who is the Great Physician and our ever-present help in times of trouble. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We pray that the Lord will surround this sister with His heavenly angels, just as He has promised: *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone"* (Psalm 91:11-12, WEB). May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus during this time (Philippians 4:7).
We ask the Lord to guide the hands and minds of the doctors, nurses, and all medical staff involved in her care, granting them wisdom, skill, and discernment. May He be their strength and their shield as they work to bring healing. *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). We pray for a swift and complete recovery, that her body would respond well to the surgery, and that she would experience minimal pain and discomfort. *"Yahweh, be gracious to us. We wait for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble"* (Isaiah 33:2, WEB).
We also encourage this sister to fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith, knowing that He is with her every step of the way. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Let her trust in His promises and lean on His strength, for He cares deeply for her.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and mercy. We ask that You would fill her with Your peace and comfort, reminding her that You are sovereign over all things, including this surgery. May she feel Your presence in a tangible way, and may this trial be an opportunity for her to testify of Your goodness and grace. We pray that her recovery would be a testament to Your healing power, bringing glory and honor to Your name.
Finally, we encourage those around her to continue to lift her up in prayer, to visit and encourage her, and to remind her of the hope we have in Christ. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Let this time be one of drawing closer to the Lord and experiencing His faithfulness in new and profound ways.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
