I AM HUMBLY COMING TODAY (TO ASK ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE PRAYED FOR MY SON, BEFORE MANY TIMES) TO ADK FOR YOUR STRONGEST PRAYERS FOR MY SON & THE CO-DEFENDANT TO BE ACQUITTED OF THESE CHARGES. HE HAS ASKED FOR A JURY TRIAL IN ### WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST RACIST COURTS IN ###!!
HE HAD ACCEPTED CHRIST AS HIS SAVIOR BEFORE HE GOT INTO TROUBLE BUT WAS HAVING TROUBLE NAVIGATING THE WATERS.

We stand with you in this deeply trying time, lifting your son and his co-defendant before the throne of grace with heavy hearts and fervent prayers. The weight of injustice and the sting of prejudice are burdens no parent or child should bear, yet we know the Lord sees every detail and holds the scales of justice in His hands. Your son’s decision to place his trust in Christ before this trial is a foundation we can build upon, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address the reality of your son’s spiritual walk. While it is a great joy that he has accepted Christ as his Savior, the Scriptures make it clear that faith without works is dead (James 2:17). If he was having trouble navigating the waters of his newfound faith, we must pray that the Lord would reveal to him the fullness of what it means to live as a disciple of Christ. This includes repentance from any sin, a turning away from ungodly influences, and a commitment to walk in obedience to God’s Word. The trial he faces is not just a legal battle but a spiritual one, and the enemy would love nothing more than to use this time to draw him away from the Lord. We rebuke the spirit of fear, doubt, and despair in Jesus’ name and declare that the Lord will complete the good work He has begun in your son (Philippians 1:6).

We also recognize the very real concern of racism in the courtroom. The Lord hates partiality and injustice (Proverbs 28:21), and we pray that He would expose any unrighteousness in this trial. May the jurors be impartial, the evidence be clear, and the truth prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will go before him as a mighty warrior (Zephaniah 3:17). Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this young man and his co-defendant. Lord, You are the righteous Judge, and we ask that You would oversee this trial with Your perfect justice. Expose any corruption, bias, or unrighteousness in the courtroom, and let Your truth be the light that guides every decision. We pray for the jurors, that they would be fair, impartial, and guided by wisdom from above. Father, we ask that You would strengthen your son’s faith during this time. Remind him of Your promises, surround him with Your peace, and let him feel Your presence in the courtroom. If there are areas of his life that are not aligned with Your will, reveal them to him, Lord, and give him the courage to repent and turn away from them. We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that he will not be shaken. May this trial be a testimony to Your power and glory, and may Your name be lifted high through it all. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and trusting in His sovereignty. This trial is not the end of your son’s story, it is a chapter in the greater testimony God is writing for his life. Lean on the Lord for strength, and surround yourself with believers who can pray and intercede with you. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for your son (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We’re holding you and your son close in prayer as the trial approaches. The weight of these days, the waiting, the uncertainty, and the fear that bias could taint the courtroom, is heavy, and we don’t want you to carry it alone. We hear the deep ache in your words, and we grieve with you that justice can feel so fragile in a broken world.

Even when human systems fail, God is not blind. He sees every hidden truth, and He is present in that room, able to soften hearts and clear minds. We’re asking Him to guide the jury to real fairness, to let the facts speak louder than any prejudice, and to bring an acquittal if it is His will. But more than a specific outcome, we’re praying for your son to know, deep in his bones, that his Savior stands with him, steady, undeterred, and utterly unshaken by a verdict. The faith he professed isn’t erased by trouble; it’s often in the crucible that we learn Christ’s nearness most.

In the waiting, pray together for that peace that doesn’t make sense in the middle of fear. Even a few quiet words, just naming your need before God, can anchor you both. We’re adding our “Amen” to yours.

Lord Jesus, we come alongside this mother, heavy-hearted but not hopeless. We ask for a courtroom where truth prevails over every bias, and we dare to ask for a full acquittal if it aligns with Your perfect will. More than anything, hold her son securely in Your love. Let him feel Your presence as a shield and his identity as Yours, no matter what the judge or jury decides. Pour out Your peace on this family, and be their defender in every way that matters most. In Your mighty name, Amen.

The trial of your faith, and of your son’s, is upon you, and it is precious in the sight of God, though for a season it tears at the heart. You have laid hold of Christ for him before, and now you must cling to the hem of the Master’s garment as you never have before. The court of men may be filled with injustice and the wickedness of human hearts, yet the great Judge of all the earth does right. Do not let the threats of man’s prejudice distract your eyes from Him who holds the hearts of all men in His hand; a word from the Lord can turn the verdict as surely as He stilled the Galilean sea.

But oh, let your chief entreaty be, not that the verdict falls to his earthly liberty alone, but that this furnace will bring him forth as pure gold, his faith refined and his soul aflame with love for the Saviour who died for him. The faith that saves is never idle, it turns from sin, it clings to holiness, it bears the blows of trial upon the shield of trust in Christ. If your son has truly received Jesus as Lord, then let him walk in Him through this valley, letting his very helplessness cast him anew upon the finished work of the cross. Wrestle in prayer, dear soul, with a mighty grip of faith, believing that what God purposes is best, and that even the bitterest cup may be sweetened by His presence.

Do not measure His love by the gavel’s sound, but by the crimson proof at Calvary. May the Comforter strengthen you to say with absolute surrender, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him,” and may that same strong faith rise in your son, for the trial of his faith is more to be treasured than any earthly freedom.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. You beg for prayers that your son be acquitted, and this is natural for a mother’s heart. Yet I must ask: what is the greater acquittal you seek, the verdict of men, or the verdict of heaven? Your son, you say, accepted Christ but has struggled to navigate the waters. Then this trial is precisely the moment for his faith to be tested and proved, as gold in the furnace. Do not pray only that he escape the sentence of a human court; pray rather that he hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of his hope firm unto the end, unshaken by these terrors.

Remember that God tempted Abraham not to learn anything Himself, but to make the patriarch’s fortitude manifest to all. Trials are not signs of abandonment, but of God’s training for His own athletes. Even our Lord endured the cross, despising the shame, and now sits at the right hand of God. Will your son not also endure whatever comes, looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith? The court you call racist, what is that to one who has put on Christ? Circumcision or uncircumcision, hook-nosed or flat-nosed, black or white, these bodily accidents neither help nor harm the wrestler who is strong and skillful in faith. The only thing that matters is that he stand firm in the Lord.

Your prayers are powerful, not because they move God to bend His justice, but because they strengthen the soul of the one prayed for. I urge you: pray that your son and his co-defendant not be moved by fear, that they bear all things nobly, and that their faith may prove genuine. If they are acquitted, let them give thanks and live righteously. If they are condemned, even unjustly, what is that but fellowship with Christ’s own sufferings? The dungeon becomes a temple if they glorify God there. But woe to them if, to secure release, they cling to falsehood or bribe the conscience; such alms are robbery, not mercy, and heap up wrath for the day of judgment.

This I say not to wound you, but to turn your eyes to the true prize. The life of your son’s soul: that is what hangs in the balance. As Paul said, “Now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.” So my prayer for him is not first for his acquittal, but that he may stand fast, that his hope be firm in the Gospel of God’s Son, and that you, his mother, may be comforted in all your distress through his faith. Do not let the terrors of that court drown out the voice of the Spirit. Let him who began a good work in your son bring it to completion, whether by freedom or by chains. That is the only acquittal that endures.

I hear the anxious weight you carry as your son steps into that courtroom. It is overwhelming when the system itself feels hostile, when you wonder if justice will truly be blind. But please know this: even as human proceedings unfold, a far more powerful advocate stands in the highest court of all. Jesus Christ is right now making intercession for your son. He does not condemn him. He pleads the merits of His own sacrifice, asking the Father to receive your son not as a sinner accused, but as a beloved child washed clean. That is a defense no earthly judge can overturn.

The Holy Spirit also helps us when words fail. When you find yourself groaning too deep for anything but a sigh, that very groan is the Spirit shaping your prayers according to God’s perfect will. So you are not alone even in the praying. The One who searches hearts knows exactly what is needed.

This trial is not strange or pointless, though it feels that way. The Scriptures remind us that the testing of our faith is more precious than gold refined by fire. Such pressure has a way of stripping away everything we mistakenly lean on and forcing us close to Jesus, the rock that is higher than we are. He alone is your son’s unshakable defense. If you exhaust yourself trying to control every outcome or worry about every juror, you will be greatly moved. But as you rest the whole matter in God’s hands, you will discover a peace that stands firm. David began by saying “I shall not be greatly moved,” and as his faith grew he could say simply, “I shall not be moved.” Trust is a growing thing.

Ride this trial like a long, uncomfortable camel journey: the only way to endure without being beaten to pieces is to relax and move with God, not thrash against every bump. Pray boldly for acquittal if that is His will, but pray even more that your son’s faith will emerge stronger and that in whatever outcome, the name of Jesus will be honored. No weapon formed against him can truly prosper because his life is now hidden with Christ.
