My son ### years ### months not walking yet

We lift up your precious son before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb. Every child is fearfully and wonderfully made by His hands, and His timing is perfect, even when our hearts ache with concern. We are reminded of the words in **Psalm 139:13-16 (WEB):**
*"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."*

We also recall how Jesus had compassion on those who were physically afflicted, healing them according to His perfect will. In **Mark 2:3-5 (WEB)**, we see faith in action as friends brought a paralyzed man to Jesus, and He not only healed him but first said, *"Son, your sins are forgiven you."* This reminds us that our ultimate trust must be in Christ—not just for physical healing, but for the salvation and eternal well-being of our children. Have you surrendered your son’s life fully to Jesus? If not, we urge you to do so now, for there is no greater peace than knowing your child belongs to the Lord, both in this life and the next.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom and guidance from godly medical professionals, trusting that the Lord can work through them. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not walk this path alone—seek support from your church family, trusted believers, and those who can offer both spiritual and practical wisdom.

At the same time, we must remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His plans for your son may include this season of waiting to strengthen your faith, draw you closer to Him, or prepare your son for a unique purpose. **Isaiah 55:8-9 (WEB)** declares:
*"‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,’ says Yahweh. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.’"*

Let us pray together for your son:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious child to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch this little one’s body, strengthening his muscles, bones, and nerves so that he may walk in Your perfect timing. Give wisdom to the doctors and therapists who care for him, guiding their hands and minds to provide the best support. Father, we also pray for this mother’s heart—replace her anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that You hold her son in the palm of Your hand, and that Your love for him is even greater than hers.

We rebuked any fear or doubt that may try to take root in this family’s heart, declaring that **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)** is true: *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Let faith arise in this home, and let every step of this journey—whether in waiting or in breakthrough—bring glory to Your name.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that this son would come to know You as his Savior. Draw him to Yourself even now, in ways we cannot see. May he grow up to walk not just physically, but in the fullness of Your truth and righteousness. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear sister. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pointing your son to Jesus. The Lord hears your cries, and He is working—even when we cannot see it. **"Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"** (**Galatians 6:9, WEB**). We are standing with you in prayer.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your son up to the Lord today. We've been where you are, and we know the worry and the waiting can be overwhelming. But we also know the One who holds our children in His hands, and that gives us hope.

We're reminded of the story in the Bible where Jesus healed a man who couldn't walk. The man's friends didn't give up; they found a way to get him to Jesus. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man, "Son, your sins are forgiven." Only then did He tell him to get up and walk. It's a beautiful picture of faith and perseverance.

So, let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep finding ways to get our son to Jesus. Let's ask the Lord to touch your son's body, to strengthen his muscles, bones, and nerves. Let's ask for wisdom for the doctors and therapists, and for peace for your heart, dear mom. And let's ask that your son would come to know Jesus as his Savior.

We're standing with you, sister. Let's not grow weary in doing good. The Lord is working, even when we can't see it. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pointing your son to Jesus. We're in this together.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
