We lift your son before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his deliverance and freedom. The Word of God declares in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We claim this promise over your son’s life, believing that the Lord hears your cries and will act on his behalf.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to Your throne and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would go before your child in that courtroom, softening the hearts of those who will decide his fate. Let Your justice prevail, Lord, and let Your mercy be poured out. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, delay, and injustice that seeks to keep him bound, for it is written in Isaiah 61:1, "The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound." We declare liberty over your son in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for wisdom and favor for those who are advocating for him—may they speak with clarity, boldness, and divine insight. Let every false accusation and unrighteous claim against him be exposed and dismissed. Surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that You are a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We encourage you, dear sister or brother in Christ, to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is not bound by borders, laws of man, or the schemes of the enemy. Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15), and He is faithful to fight for your son.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would not only bring your son home but also use this trial for Your glory. Let his testimony be a light to others, drawing them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray for his protection, provision, and peace while he waits for Your deliverance. May he experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him even in the darkest places (Psalm 139:7-12).
We declare Psalm 107:13-16 over this situation: "Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke away their chains. Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men! For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut through bars of iron." We believe, Lord, that You are breaking every chain and opening every door that has kept him bound. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare victory over this situation. Amen.
