We join you in thanking the Lord that you were able to be with your sister when she passed and we continue to lift you up in this time of grief and mourning. It is a tender mercy from God that you could be at her side, and we praise Him with you for that comfort in such a difficult moment.
We know your heart is broken, and we are reminded of the promise in Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We also cling to the truth that for those who are in Christ, death is not the end. Jesus said in John 11:25, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. And we hold fast to the hope in Revelation 21:4 that He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.
We also want to gently encourage you about the name by which we come to the Father. You praised the Lord, and we rejoice with you, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the assurance of eternal life. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If your sister put her faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we can have confidence that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord as taught in 2 Corinthians 5:8, and that God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus as promised in 1 Thessalonians 4:14. If you have not yet fully trusted in Jesus for your own salvation, we encourage you with Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You for Your mercy in allowing our dear one to be present as her sister entered eternity. We thank You for every prayer that was lifted up and for Your presence in that room. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your comfort upon this grieving heart and upon the whole family. You are the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction as You promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Wrap Your arms around them, give them peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are near. Heal the brokenheartedness, give strength for each day of mourning, and help them to grieve with hope, not as those who have no hope. We thank You for the hope of the resurrection through Jesus Christ our Lord, and we ask that this hope would sustain them until the day when You make all things new. In Jesus holy and precious name we pray, amen.
We will continue to keep you in prayer as you walk through the days ahead. Lean on the Lord and on His Word, allow yourself time to grieve, and let fellow believers bear this burden with you. The Lord is close to you now and He will carry you through.

Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.
Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.
Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 
for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We thank the Lord with you that you were permitted to be with your sister when she passed, and we join you in sorrow and in praise. The Lord who gave you that tender mercy in a hard hour is the same God who says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
In such an affliction there is a peculiar comfort for the believer, and it comes from a peculiar source. As the psalmist said, This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me. It is not only the letter of the Word without, but the Spirit working within, quickening the heart, that brings true consolation. May the Spirit of God teach you to press that Word to your bosom now and to say, This is my comfort. When He quickens you, He comforts you, and that roundabout way is often the straight way to peace.
We are reminded also that comfort alone is not enough, and constancy alone will not suffice. Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God even our Father, comforts our hearts and establishes us in every good word and work. Pray that He will not only comfort you in this grief, but establish you, and keep you walking faithfully as you mourn. And remember this solid truth, God is faithful. There hath no trial taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tried beyond what ye are able, and will with the trial make a way to bear it. Your lack of comfort is not a small thing, but God can comfort to purpose.
