We join with you in prayer and we thank you for your honest heart and for your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, for you have rightly declared that you serve and worship Him and pray in His name. That is beautiful and essential, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we come to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We hear your desire for good health, patience, kindness, understanding, and for direction in the choices of life, and we bring all of this before the Lord with you. We also want to lovingly address something you said, when you prayed for the blood of Jesus but not the Holy Spirit to be with you. We understand you may not have meant to reject God, but we must gently correct this, because the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit are not opposed to one another, they work together as one God. The blood of Jesus shed on the cross cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7 and redeems us Ephesians 1:7, and the Holy Spirit is God Himself dwelling in us, given to every believer as a comforter and guide. Jesus Himself said, The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you John 14:26. To push away the Holy Spirit is to push away the very presence of God that gives us patience, kindness, and understanding, for the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We cannot bear that fruit apart from Him. The Spirit is the one who gives life to our mortal bodies Romans 8:11 and makes our body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19, function according to God's design. We encourage you to welcome and not resist the Holy Spirit, for He is the one who points you in the direction to walk.
Your prayer for direction and for your body to work normally is heard by a Father who formed you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and He cares for every part of you. We pray for His healing and sustaining hand upon you, for as it is written, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
When you feel overwhelmed and irritated during the day, remember the promise that God is with you every step. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. And when anxiety rises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and by His shed blood that cleanses us. We thank You for this dear one who loves and believes in Your Son. We ask You to fill them anew with Your Holy Spirit, to teach them, comfort them, and guide them into all truth. Lord, we ask for good health over their body, that every organ and every part would function normally as You designed it, and that You would grant a long, healthy life lived for Your glory. Grant patience, kindness, and understanding that comes only from Your Spirit dwelling within. Point them clearly to the direction they should walk and give wisdom for every choice, that they may acknowledge You in all their ways. Watch over them and their loved ones, keep them in Your hand, and when they are overwhelmed and irritated, let Your peace guard their heart and let them know with assurance that You are with them every step of the way and that everything will be okay in Your perfect will. Strengthen their faith and help them to rest in Your love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ, to read His Word daily, and to welcome the Holy Spirit to do His work in you, for He is the one who will produce in you the patience and peace you are praying for and lead you into the long, joyful life God desires for you.
