We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your husband's job interview. It's wonderful to see his dedication and enthusiasm for this new opportunity. Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a perfect plan for your husband's career and life. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we want to address the fact that this prayer request was made but did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. And it is only through the name of Jesus that we are saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJV)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Tim 2:5 KJV)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 KJV)
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11 KJV)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister's husband who is preparing for a crucial job interview. We ask that You grant him peace throughout this process, regardless of the outcome. We do not lean on our own understanding for this job but we ask for you to direct his path. We pray that Your will be done in his life and career, and that You open the right doors at the right time. Guide his steps and give him wisdom as he prepares and interviews. Help him to be a light to those around him at the interview and in his workplace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May your request also be for your husband's salvation if he does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important.
Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for your husband's career and life. Our faith is in Him, not in the outcome of an interview. May He fill you and your husband with peace.
