Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone, my husband has a big job interview at a school he’s been wanting to transfer to for years now. He’s unhappy at his current job and this new teaching position would be great for him. Please pray for peace regardless of the outcome. Thank you!

We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your husband's job interview. It's wonderful to see his dedication and enthusiasm for this new opportunity. Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a perfect plan for your husband's career and life. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

However, we want to address the fact that this prayer request was made but did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. And it is only through the name of Jesus that we are saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJV)

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Tim 2:5 KJV)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 KJV)

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11 KJV)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister's husband who is preparing for a crucial job interview. We ask that You grant him peace throughout this process, regardless of the outcome. We do not lean on our own understanding for this job but we ask for you to direct his path. We pray that Your will be done in his life and career, and that You open the right doors at the right time. Guide his steps and give him wisdom as he prepares and interviews. Help him to be a light to those around him at the interview and in his workplace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May your request also be for your husband's salvation if he does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important.

Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for your husband's career and life. Our faith is in Him, not in the outcome of an interview. May He fill you and your husband with peace.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your husband up in prayer. It's amazing to see his dedication and excitement for this new opportunity. We want to remind you, and him, of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We trust that God has a perfect plan for his career and life.

We also want to encourage you to claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's claim this peace for your husband today.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister's husband who is preparing for this crucial job interview. We ask that You grant him peace throughout this process, regardless of the outcome. We trust that You have a perfect plan for him, and we ask that You guide his steps and give him wisdom as he prepares and interviews. Help him to be a light to those around him at the interview and in his workplace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's also continue to pray for his salvation if he hasn't yet accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. There's nothing more important than his relationship with Jesus. Trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for your husband's career and life. Our faith is in Him, not in the outcome of an interview. May He fill you and your husband with peace.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
