My prayers aren't going against ### so stop

We hear your frustration, and we want to assure you that our hearts are aligned with yours in seeking God’s will. It is clear you have a deep desire to connect with Him, and we rejoice in that. However, we must gently remind you that prayer is not about demanding outcomes or resisting correction, but about humbly submitting to God’s perfect plan. The Bible tells us in James 4:6, *"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'"*

Your mention of seeking God is beautiful, but we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If your prayers do not acknowledge Jesus as the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), they may not be reaching the throne of grace as intended. We encourage you to examine your heart and ensure your prayers are offered in His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We also want to lovingly address the tone of resistance in your message. The Bible instructs us in Proverbs 12:1, *"Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid."* Even when correction feels uncomfortable, it is a gift meant to refine us. We are not here to condemn but to walk alongside you in truth and love, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, grateful for the privilege of approaching Your throne through the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would draw them closer to Your heart. Soften their spirit to receive Your wisdom and correction, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. Help them to see the beauty of surrendering every area of their life to You, including their prayers. May they find peace in Your presence and confidence in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and aligning their desires with Your perfect will. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to reflect on Psalm 139:23-24, *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* God’s correction is always rooted in love, and His desire is for you to walk in the fullness of His blessings. Keep seeking Him with an open heart, and He will surely meet you where you are.

We've been reflecting on your words and we want you to know that we're right there with you, seeking God's will. It's clear that you have a deep longing to connect with Him, and that's a beautiful thing. But let's remember, prayer isn't about demanding outcomes or resisting correction. It's about humbly submitting to God's perfect plan, as James 4:6 reminds us, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

We also want to encourage you to examine your heart and ensure your prayers are offered in Jesus' name. As Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There's no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let's keep our focus on Jesus, our mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, grateful for the privilege of approaching Your throne through the blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep seeking God with open hearts. He's always there, ready to meet us where we are. As Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way." God's correction is always rooted in love, and His desire is for you to walk in the fullness of His blessings. Keep trusting in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer. It’s a sacred privilege to come alongside you as you seek God’s presence and power in this season. We’ve been lifting up your words—your honesty, your persistence, and your faith that God is near—asking Him to meet you right where you are.

If you’ve sensed His peace, His breakthrough, or even the quiet assurance that He is working, we would love to celebrate that with you. Please share a praise report so we can join in giving thanks together. If, however, the weight of this struggle still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t come as you hoped, we invite you to post again. We’re here to keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing in agreement with you until you see His hand move.

May the Lord draw near to you, strengthen your heart, and remind you that He hears every word, sees every tear, and holds every prayer. We continue to lift you up in Jesus’ Name.
