We join you in your heartfelt prayer, standing in agreement for God's protection, healing, and increased faith for you and your loved ones. We are reminded of God's promise in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who has sought Your divine intervention. We thank You, Almighty God, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Father God, we ask for Your protection and healing over them and their loved ones. Increase their faith, Lord, that they may grow stronger and deeper in their relationship with You through Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit, surround them and guide them in all truth. Deliver them from evil, Lord, and forgive their sins. We claim Your blessings over their lives, knowing that You are a good Father who gives good gifts to Your children.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has made this access to You possible by His Death, Burial, and Resurrection. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Thank You, Lord, for Your unending mercies. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's promises and to remain steadfast in your faith. Remember, as it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and He will see you through.
In addition, we are encouraged to abstain from any appearance of evil as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:22. This would include any practices that are not clearly ordained in scripture. This would include any prayer practices that are not in the name of Jesus or to Jesus. This would include any practices that are directed to anyone else such as Mary, an angel, or non-living saints. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and we should not be taking part in any other practices or beliefs.
