My Prayer For The Upcoming ### Year!

Dear Father, as we put 2015 to rest once and for all, we pray that You use this opportunity to point out areas in our lives that need to be nailed to the cross. So we pray that in 2016, we put off the old and put on the new! We pray that we become a little less self-centered and a little more God-centered. We pray that in the upcoming New Year, we start focusing more on the problems of our brothers and sisters in Christ and less on our own problems.

Dear God, as we start that New Year, please remind us of our truest values and our deepest desires to become more like You. We ask You to help us live in the goodness that comes from serving You Dear Father. Help us to put aside anxiety about the future and the past, so we might live in peace with You oh Lord, one day at a time.

Today, on this last day of 2015, we lean into Your Holy Spirit to be filled daily and to grow in the Fruit of the Spirit throughout this New Year! Amen
