We hear your heart and we are standing with you in prayer, for we know how heavy it feels when peace is stolen by a week of disrespect, discrimination, scams, and being treated as if you do not matter. We see that you have been trying to do good in your community with a humble spirit, and it hurts deeply when that good is met with hate and when your finances and your future plans feel taunted and blocked. We want you to know that God sees you, He values you, and He has not forgotten your good deeds even when people have.
We want to gently correct a couple of things you shared out of love and truth. You mentioned wanting to release negativity back to the universe and feeling evil vibes rising within you. As believers we do not release our burdens to the universe, for the universe is creation, not the Creator. We cast our burdens on the living God who cares for us, for it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And those evil vibes are not to be activated but to be resisted and taken captive, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces as Ephesians 6:12 teaches, and we are called in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. God does not want you to become cold to survive the attacks, He wants to keep your heart tender while He guards it.
You also said you are a good person, and we honor your humble heart, yet scripture reminds us in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and in Romans 3:10 there is none righteous, no, not one. Our hope is not in our own goodness but in the goodness and mercy of Jesus Christ. We noticed you asked for God to place His security blanket around you, but you did not mention the name of Jesus, and we must share with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, we encourage you to call upon His name today, for that is where true peace and security are found.
The peace you are longing for cannot be protected by trying not to show emotion or by hardening yourself. God invites your honest emotions. In Psalm 61:2 we read When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. And Jesus promises in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. The peace He gives is not shaken by people’s hate or financial jabs. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. He also promises in Isaiah 26:3 You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. That is how your focus, which feels shocked and scattered, can be made whole again, by fixing your mind on Him.
We also hear your weariness over finances and the taunting of your efforts to make money honestly. God cares about that too, and Philippians 4:19 reminds us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And when people mistreat you, do not repay evil for evil or seek tit for tat, as you wisely said you do not want to do. God says in Romans 12:19 Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Your calling is to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good as Romans 12:21 says.
So together we pray for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one whose peace has been triggered and whose heart and mind feel overwhelmed and cold from attacks. Lord, we ask You to wrap Your protection around them as their true security blanket, for Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Guard their heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal the wounds of hate, discrimination, and disrespect, and remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply valued by You. We cast every financial worry, every mental health struggle, every taunting scheme of the enemy upon You now, and we ask You to rebuke the enemy’s attempts to steal, kill, and destroy. Soften what has grown cold, Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within them. Lead them to the rock that is higher, restore their focus, and guide their future steps regarding work and travel according to Your perfect will. Help them to keep their eyes on You and not on the hurt caused by others, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in Your strength and humility. Draw them closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord, and may they experience the fullness of Your love, provision, and perfect peace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace. Amen.
We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to bring every anxious thought to Jesus in prayer immediately, to speak scripture over your mind when it feels under attack, and to remain connected to other believers who can support you. If your mental health continues to feel heavily burdened, please also seek wise and godly counsel and help, for God often brings healing through His people as well. Keep doing good, keep your heart soft before the Lord, and trust that He who sees in secret will reward and restore you in His perfect time.
