My peace has been triggered

Disciple of Prayer
All week there’s been a series of hate and discrimination scam and flat out disrespect. People have been treating me like a nobody. It’s sad because I do my good deeds in community but the enemy always try to steal my peace. I’m not hurting or harming anyone. I’m just being me the humble person I am. I try not to show emotion but i’m going through a lot of other things that is poking my mental health percentage. The enemy taking jabs at my finances and just taunting my movements on making my money. Making me activate evil vibes that shouldn’t even exist in me. i’m a good person and I just need God to place his security blanket around me i’m shivering from the attacks. I’m not scared i’m just becoming cold. I’m not in to tit for tat i’m trying to stay focused on my future bringing less work and more travel through the states of the us and enjoying life like im suppose to. This year has came in rocky and my mental can’t seem to come together as a whole. My focus is shocked. I need to release all this negativity back to the universe and practice becoming great. Help me pray thank you

We hear your heart and we are standing with you in prayer, for we know how heavy it feels when peace is stolen by a week of disrespect, discrimination, scams, and being treated as if you do not matter. We see that you have been trying to do good in your community with a humble spirit, and it hurts deeply when that good is met with hate and when your finances and your future plans feel taunted and blocked. We want you to know that God sees you, He values you, and He has not forgotten your good deeds even when people have.

We want to gently correct a couple of things you shared out of love and truth. You mentioned wanting to release negativity back to the universe and feeling evil vibes rising within you. As believers we do not release our burdens to the universe, for the universe is creation, not the Creator. We cast our burdens on the living God who cares for us, for it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And those evil vibes are not to be activated but to be resisted and taken captive, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces as Ephesians 6:12 teaches, and we are called in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. God does not want you to become cold to survive the attacks, He wants to keep your heart tender while He guards it.

You also said you are a good person, and we honor your humble heart, yet scripture reminds us in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and in Romans 3:10 there is none righteous, no, not one. Our hope is not in our own goodness but in the goodness and mercy of Jesus Christ. We noticed you asked for God to place His security blanket around you, but you did not mention the name of Jesus, and we must share with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, we encourage you to call upon His name today, for that is where true peace and security are found.

The peace you are longing for cannot be protected by trying not to show emotion or by hardening yourself. God invites your honest emotions. In Psalm 61:2 we read When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. And Jesus promises in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. The peace He gives is not shaken by people’s hate or financial jabs. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. He also promises in Isaiah 26:3 You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. That is how your focus, which feels shocked and scattered, can be made whole again, by fixing your mind on Him.

We also hear your weariness over finances and the taunting of your efforts to make money honestly. God cares about that too, and Philippians 4:19 reminds us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And when people mistreat you, do not repay evil for evil or seek tit for tat, as you wisely said you do not want to do. God says in Romans 12:19 Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Your calling is to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good as Romans 12:21 says.

So together we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one whose peace has been triggered and whose heart and mind feel overwhelmed and cold from attacks. Lord, we ask You to wrap Your protection around them as their true security blanket, for Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Guard their heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal the wounds of hate, discrimination, and disrespect, and remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply valued by You. We cast every financial worry, every mental health struggle, every taunting scheme of the enemy upon You now, and we ask You to rebuke the enemy’s attempts to steal, kill, and destroy. Soften what has grown cold, Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within them. Lead them to the rock that is higher, restore their focus, and guide their future steps regarding work and travel according to Your perfect will. Help them to keep their eyes on You and not on the hurt caused by others, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in Your strength and humility. Draw them closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord, and may they experience the fullness of Your love, provision, and perfect peace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace. Amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to bring every anxious thought to Jesus in prayer immediately, to speak scripture over your mind when it feels under attack, and to remain connected to other believers who can support you. If your mental health continues to feel heavily burdened, please also seek wise and godly counsel and help, for God often brings healing through His people as well. Keep doing good, keep your heart soft before the Lord, and trust that He who sees in secret will reward and restore you in His perfect time.

Thank you for sharing so openly with us. We can hear how worn down you feel after a week of being disrespected and treated as if you do not matter, especially when you try to live humbly and do good in your community. It makes sense that your peace feels triggered and your focus feels scattered, and that the strain on your finances would leave you feeling cold and on edge. You are not alone in feeling this way.

We also hear you want to stay focused on a healthier future with less strain and more room to enjoy life, without getting pulled into back and forth battles. That desire to stay steady is a real strength.

One small step that often helps when peace feels shaky is to lean into one or two protective supports rather than carrying it all alone. It could be reaching out this week to one trusted person, a pastor, counselor or safe friend, to share honestly how your mental health and focus have been affected. If you notice ongoing tension, trouble sleeping, racing thoughts or feeling constantly on edge, it is also wise to talk with a doctor or counselor alongside prayer, so you have extra support.

We are praying for you and we care about your safety and dignity.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your covering and calm around them. Quiet the taunting and disrespect they have faced, steady their mind and focus, and provide for their financial needs with wisdom for next steps. Surround them with supportive people and restore a sense of security and hope for the days ahead. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and I have carried it before the Lord with you. To be treated as a nobody, to feel mocked and disrespected when you have sought to do good, and to feel your peace stolen and your mind unsettled, is a heavy trial. And when finances press and the future feels rocky, the heart can indeed grow cold and shivering, as you describe.

I want to speak to you plainly and tenderly about where true peace is found. There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, but it does not come from releasing negativity back to the universe, nor from looking within to your own goodness. The peace of God which passes all understanding comes only through being made right with God by the blood of Jesus Christ. When we learn that our enormous debt of sin has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus, who did this for all believers, then the heart is at peace with God, and then the peace of God can keep the heart and mind.

You say you are a good person, and I do not doubt you have sought to live humbly and to do good in your community. Yet Scripture teaches us that none of us can claim peace with God upon the ground of our own goodness. We have all sinned, and our peace must rest not on what we are, but on what Christ has done. He bore the justice of God in our place, so that God now looks upon the sinner who trusts in His dear Son and sees no iniquity remaining. This is the only foundation that will stand in the trying hour. Any other peace, whether it be a mere lull of anxiety or a blindness to danger, is a false peace that will vanish as a dream when one awakes.

You speak of the enemy taking jabs at you. He is indeed an enemy, and he would have you either live in anxious thought or give way to evil tempers that should not rule in you. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. And to give place to bitterness or to what you call evil vibes is to give the adversary a foothold. I would not have you pray merely to be kept from sadness of soul, but above all to pray, Lord, keep me from sin. If in enduring your trouble you do not fall into sin, you are more than a conqueror over him that hates you.

Therefore cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Do not tell yourself about your troubles over and over in secret anxiety, for that brings no good. Tell the Lord about it and agonize before Him in prayer. He who spared not His only begotten Son but delivered Him up for us, will He withhold anything necessary for your well being. His security is not a blanket of feeling, but the keeping power of Christ Himself. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee.

Let me pray for you.

O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only hope and our peace, look upon this weary one. Forgive sin through the blood of atonement and grant peace with Thee through faith in Him. Thou seest the disrespect endured, the financial straits, the mental weariness and the coldness of heart that has come from many jabs. Keep this soul from sin and keep the mind stayed upon Thee. Let the peace of God which passes all understanding keep heart and soul by Jesus Christ. Lift the burden of anxiety, provide for daily needs according to Thy wisdom, restore steadiness of focus, and teach to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness. Lead not into paths of empty travel or mere ease apart from Thee, but into the way everlasting, and make this life to be lived for Thy glory. Preserve from the spirit of retaliation and tit for tat, and form a spirit of patient endurance and holiness. This I ask for Jesus sake, Amen.

Stay your mind upon Christ. Seek Him in His Word, turn aside from every idol that would claim your trust, whether business or pleasure or health, and trust in God alone through Jesus. And if you have never yet cast yourself wholly upon Christ for salvation, do so tonight, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, and no other way to have lasting peace.
