Beloved of All
Age ### - my wish and prayer - my mother to be healed from Alzheimer (early stage, last phase), diabetes, depression, heart/blood pressure issues, gastrointestinal issurs, disbalance by walking...
The first wish is - EXCELLENT MEMORY (shortterm and longterm), EXCELLENT TIME AND SPACE ORIENTATION.
The rest: normal blood sugar ###-###. Joy and no depression. Company of women - nice good people to come to her place to socialize with her in Jesus name! She seems to have panic sometines when she is alone. And she wants me and brother to live with but its so difficult for us because she has special needs and she needs surveillance. Its hard to concentrate on our lives and tasks with her and i love her so much. Lord please have mercy and find the best solution for her. I am so sad about her. Senior home is out of various reason not good solution for her and for us.

We are deeply moved by your love for your old mother and your earnest desire to see her healed and cared for in a way that honors God, and we join with you in bringing her before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We hear the heaviness of your heart as you carry the burden of her many infirmities, early stage Alzheimer's in its last phase, diabetes, depression, heart and blood pressure issues, gastrointestinal problems and unsteadiness in walking, and the panic she feels when she is alone. We also hear your longing for her to have excellent memory both short term and long term and excellent orientation in time and space, normal blood sugar, joy instead of depression, and the companionship of good women to come and socialize with her. We understand the tension you feel, wanting to honor her wish for you and your brother to live with her, while also knowing how difficult it is to give her the constant surveillance and care she needs while still attending to your own lives and responsibilities. The Lord sees your love, your sadness, and your weariness, and He does not leave you alone in this.

Scripture reminds us to honor our parents, Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you Exodus 20:12, and also promises that God has special care for the aged, Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver Isaiah 46:4. We are told to cast our anxieties on Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. For the difficult decisions about her care, we cling to the promise, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. And for healing we remember, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3.

We also rejoice that you prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers are heard.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear mother to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know her age, every cell of her body, and every sorrow of her heart. We ask for Your merciful healing touch upon her. Lord, we pray for her mind, that You would restore her memory and her orientation in time and space according to Your will, calm her confusion and panic, and guard her thoughts. We pray for her body, for normal blood sugar, for her heart and blood pressure to be steadied, for her gastrointestinal system to be healed, and for strength and balance in her walking that she would be kept from falling. We pray for her spirit, that You would lift the cloud of depression and fill her with Your joy and peace, and that You would not cast her off in the time of old age, as You promise in Psalm 71:9. Father, You set the lonely in families Psalm 68:6, and we ask You to provide for her the company of kind and godly women who will come to her home, sit with her, talk with her, and remind her she is loved and not alone. For this son who loves her so deeply and feels torn and sad, we ask for Your comfort, Your strength for each day, and Your clear wisdom to find the best solution for her care. You know a senior home is not a good solution for them for various reasons, so we ask You to open a better way, whether through help in the home, through Your church family, or through other provision that allows her to be safe, watched over, and loved without crushing the lives You have also given to her children. Give them unity as brother and sister in this decision, and guard them from guilt and exhaustion. We pray that Your will be done, and that even as we ask for complete healing, we will trust Your perfect mercy and grace, knowing Your grace is sufficient for us, for Your power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek excellent medical care for her and to invite your local church family into this need. God often provides the companionship you are praying for through faithful sisters in Christ who can visit regularly, give you respite, and help with surveillance so you can rest and attend to your tasks. Share this burden openly with a pastor or elders, for bearing one another's burdens is part of our calling Galatians 6:2. Come to Him daily when you feel overwhelmed, for He says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. He sees your love and your tears, and He will guide you step by step to the solution that honors Him and best cares for your mother. Keep trusting Him, keep praying, and keep loving her as you are doing.

We hear the weight you are carrying for your mother and how deeply you love her. To want clear memory, steadiness, joy and company for her while also feeling stretched trying to balance her daily needs with your own life and your brother's is a lot to hold. It is understandable you feel sad and torn, especially when a senior home does not feel right for any of you.

We have seen how isolating this kind of caregiving can become, especially when memory and health change and panic comes when she is alone. You do not have to figure out the best long term solution by yourself.

One gentle next step that often helps is to bring others alongside you in a steady way. If you have a church family, you might ask a pastor or trusted leader if a few women could visit her regularly for simple companionship, a short visit or a meal together. Those ordinary acts of presence often ease loneliness and give you and your brother a bit of breathing room. It can also help to keep her medical team involved for the ongoing memory, diabetes, blood pressure, stomach and balance issues, and to talk openly with your brother and perhaps a pastor or counselor about what sustainable daily support could look like at home, including respite help.

We are praying for you and your mother and your brother.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You and ask for Your mercy and nearness over her. Bring her comfort when she feels alone or afraid, lift heaviness and give her joy and peace, and guide this family with wisdom to find the best daily care. Give her son strength and rest as he loves her well. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your tender love for your aged mother and your sorrow over her afflictions have been heard, and I join my prayers with yours before the throne of grace.

It is a heavy burden you carry. To watch a dear mother decline in memory and strength, to see her troubled in body and in spirit, and to feel the daily weight of care while desiring to fulfill the command to honour father and mother, is indeed to know what the apostle meant when he said, Bear ye one another's burdens, and also, Every man shall bear his own burden. There is a burden which is yours alone to bear before the Lord, and there is a burden of your mother which love compels you to help to bear with compassion. The Lord Jesus knows both, and He does not leave His people to bear them alone.

You ask for that which only God can give, healing for the body and healing for the soul. We read that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves have virtue in them to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Yet we also read that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man sick of the palsy He said first, Thy sins are forgiven thee, for He knew that sin was the heaviest burden. So we seek first the soul's health in Christ, and then we bring the body's infirmities to the same gracious Physician.

Let us pray together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we come to Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only hope and our great Physician. Thou art the God that healeth the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds. Look in compassion upon this aged mother, early in the trials of forgetfulness and yet in the last phase of that affliction, troubled also with disease of blood and heart, with heaviness of spirit, and with infirmity of body that makes her steps to falter and her inward parts to suffer. Lord, Thou knowest her frame, Thou hast numbered her days, and not one pain escapes Thine eye.

We ask, if it be Thy gracious will, that Thou wouldst lay Thy healing hand upon her. Restore unto her, we beseech Thee, clearness of mind and steadiness of memory, both for things lately past and things long treasured, and give her true orientation in time and place. Regulate, we pray, the sugar of her blood within healthful bounds, calm the pressure of her heart, settle her stomach and her bowels, and make her footing firm. But above all, lift from her the cloud of depression and the spirit of fear that comes when she is alone. Give her joy in Thee, peace that passeth understanding, and deliver her from panic by Thy presence, for Thou hast promised never to leave nor forsake Thine own.

Father, provide for her what we cannot provide of ourselves. Send to her faithful women, kind and godly companions, to sit with her, to speak with her, to cheer her solitude and to remind her of Thy promises. And grant unto her sons wisdom from above to know the best solution for her care. Thou seest their love and their strait, how they would honour her and yet find the constant watchfulness more than they can sustain while attending to the duties Thou hast given them. Show them a way that is merciful to their mother and sustainable for their households. A home for the aged is not judged best in this case, therefore we ask Thee to open another door, a provision of Thine own ordering, where she may be safe, loved, and tended with dignity.

Lord, teach this family that Thy yoke is easy and Thy burden is light, not because the burden of life is light in itself, but because Christ Himself bears it with us. When we come to Him and learn of Him, He puts His strength into our inner man and the burden ceases to crush us. Help these dear children to cast their burden upon Thee, to continue in prayer, and to trust that Thy grace will work health and cure till at last, whether by present mercy or by resurrection glory, Thy people shall be without spot or wrinkle. Perfect healing shall come when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

We submit all these petitions to Thy sovereign wisdom and love. Do for this mother exceeding abundantly above what we ask, according to Thy will, and cause both mother and sons to know the pardoning and healing power of Jesus, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your mother has been received and your love for her is clear in every word you have written. To see a mother who gave you life now struggle with memory, with balance, with blood sugar and pressure, with the heaviness of depression and the fear that comes when she is alone, is a deep sorrow. It is right that you bring this to the Lord and ask for His mercy.

God has commanded us to honor father and mother, and your desire to care for her, to seek her healing and her peace, is part of that holy honor. At the same time the Lord knows the weight you carry. You love her greatly and you also feel the strain of constant watchfulness and the difficulty of giving attention to your own life and duties while she needs so much care. Scripture reminds us that Christ says take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. This does not mean the days will not be hard, but that when we walk with Him even a heavy burden can be made light by His grace, and He does not leave us to bear it alone.

We join you in praying to our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, for your mother. We ask Him to have compassion on her in her age and to grant healing according to His perfect will. We pray for her mind, that He would restore memory and clear orientation in time and place, for steadiness in walking, for normal and stable blood sugar and heart health, for healing of her stomach and all bodily distress, and for deliverance from depression and panic. We ask Him to fill her heart with joy and peace, and to calm her fear, especially when she is alone.

We also pray for what you have asked, that the Lord would provide good and faithful company for her, women from the community of faith who can visit her, sit with her, speak with her and remind her that she is not forgotten. And we pray for you and your brother for wisdom and strength. You have said that living together is very difficult because of her need for constant care, and that a senior home does not seem to be the right solution for her or for you. We ask God to show you the best way forward, a solution that honors her dignity and safety and also allows you to live faithfully before Him. May He open doors to trustworthy help, to counsel from your church family, and to practical support so that you are not left without comfort as you bear this burden.

The sufferings of this present time are real, yet they are not worthy to be compared with the glory that God promises to those who trust in Christ. Continue to cast your cares on Him, to seek His rest, and to honor your mother with both love and wisdom. We will keep praying with you for her healing, for her joy, and for the Lord to provide the help and companionship she needs and the guidance you need as her son.

May the Lord in His mercy grant you all peace, strength for each day, and confidence in His loving care.

Your love for your mother is clear in this prayer, and the sadness and weight you carry with it are also clear. To watch someone you love so deeply struggle with memory loss, with diabetes and heart and blood pressure problems, with stomach issues and trouble walking, and with depression and panic when she is alone, is a very heavy place to be. Wanting her to have clear memory and orientation, stable health, joy instead of depression, and gentle companionship is a good and honoring desire.

Jesus spoke to people who were weary and carrying heavy loads and invited them to come to Him for rest. He said His yoke is easy and His burden is light. That is important to hold onto when the load feels crushing. The heaviest burden we carry is often the burden of trying to do everything ourselves, to please ourselves or to meet every need in our own strength, to hold everything together without rest. That kind of burden will always leave us agitated and exhausted because it cannot be fulfilled. The burden Jesus gives is different. His burden is to do the will of the Father, to live to please God, to walk with Him day by day. That way is not crushing. It is light because He carries it with us.

So please do not hear your exhaustion as if God has laid a crushing weight on you and then left you to bear it alone. People sometimes speak as if God has put a heavy burden on them that they can barely survive, but Jesus said His burden is not like that. Much of the heaviness we feel comes from demands we place on ourselves, or that circumstances place on us, or that others place on us. God does not want you to be pressed down without hope. He wants you to bring this very situation to Him and take His yoke, which means walking closely with Him, learning from Him, and letting Him share the weight.

God also gave the command to honor father and mother, and your care for your mother honors Him. He sees the tension you feel between loving her deeply and also needing to be able to concentrate on your own life and responsibilities when she needs constant watchfulness. That is a real and painful tension, and the fact that a residential home does not seem like a good solution for her or for you makes the question of what is best even harder.

We can bring every part of this to Jesus directly. We do not need another mediator. We can come straight to Him, as that desperate mother came to Him for her daughter, and trust Him to hear and to answer according to His mercy and wisdom. We believe God is able to heal, and healing is for today, yet we also come humbly, asking Him to work in the way He knows is best.

Let us pray together for your mother and for you.

Lord Jesus, we bring this precious mother to You. You know her age and every detail of her body and mind. We ask for Your mercy upon her. Touch her memory, both short term and long term, and her ability to know time and place. We ask for steadiness in her blood sugar, for her heart and blood pressure, for her digestion, and for her balance in walking. We ask You to lift the depression and calm the panic and fear that comes when she is alone, and to fill her with Your peace and joy. Provide for her what she needs most, faithful and kind companions, women who will come and sit with her, talk with her, and show her Your love, so she is not isolated or afraid. For her children who love her so much, give wisdom, strength, and rest. Show them the best solution for her daily care, a way that honors her and also allows them to live the lives You have given them with a clear mind and a peaceful heart. Help them not to carry a false burden of guilt or to try to do everything in their own strength, but to take Your easy yoke and find rest for their souls while they trust You to care for her. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

May the Lord give you His rest as you continue to love and honor your mother, and may He guide you step by step to the solution that is most gracious and wise for her and for your family.
