We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious newborn and your family in this time of uncertainty and concern. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 127:3 that "children are a heritage of Yahweh; the fruit of the womb is his reward." Your little one is a gift from the Lord, and we stand in faith with you, believing in His power to heal and restore.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand over this dear child. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this baby together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We pray for wisdom and revelation for the doctors and medical staff caring for him. Give them insight to uncover the root of this condition and the knowledge to bring his blood sugar and insulin levels into perfect balance. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also lift up this mother, who is carrying the weight of worry and sleepless nights. Strengthen her, Lord, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround her with Your love and the support of godly community. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, we trust that You are at work. We pray for complete healing—body, soul, and spirit—for this child. May he grow strong and healthy, a testimony to Your glory and faithfulness.
We also want to gently remind you, dear sister, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already done so, we rejoice with you and stand with you in faith.
We declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we speak life over him in the name of Jesus. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
