I absolutely hate getting my mouth dry because I don't know where it's coming from. It doesn't make any sense to me.

We hear your frustration and we lift you up together before the Lord, for even this discomfort that seems small and confusing matters to Him. We understand how unsettling it is when your mouth becomes dry and you cannot trace the cause, and how that uncertainty can bring irritation and worry.
We want to remind you that our bodies are wonderfully made and that God cares about every part of our health. We encourage you to cast this worry on Him, for He cares for you. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Also we are told to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.
We also pray that you will find practical help and peace. Dry mouth can come from many natural causes such as dehydration, breathing through the mouth, anxiety, lack of sleep, or side effects from medications or foods, and it is wise to care for the temple God has given you. We encourage you to stay well hydrated, to note when it happens, and to seek wise counsel from a medical professional if it continues, trusting that God often works through physicians and wisdom. We claim His promise that He is our healer, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the discomfort of this dry mouth and the frustration of not understanding its source. We ask You to bring relief, to regulate the body, to bring hydration and healing, and to reveal any underlying cause that needs attention. Lord grant wisdom to know what steps to take and peace to rest in Your care. We ask that You calm any anxiety that rises with this and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help this one to feel Your presence and to know that You are near and that You hear every prayer offered in Jesus name. We thank You that You invite us to come when we are weary, for You have said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We trust You to restore and to comfort. We pray all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

That sense of not understanding where this is coming from sounds really wearing. Hating that dry mouth feeling makes sense when it seems to come out of nowhere and you cannot point to a reason.

Your words concerning this dryness of the mouth have been heard, and though it may seem a small affliction to others, I know that what perplexes you and causes you daily discomfort is not small to you, and it is not small to your heavenly Father who numbers the hairs of your head.
It is a trial when the body is out of order and we cannot trace the cause, for the mind then becomes uneasy and we are tempted to be anxious. Yet I have found that the very anxiety which arises through our being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to stay the mind upon Him even when the body is restless is to find a peace that whispers within, even when outward comforts fail.
Our Lord Jesus is the great Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. It is written, with His stripes we are healed, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, not only in great deliverances but in little mercies which touch our daily infirmities. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There is healing in that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.
Therefore I would counsel you to carry this burden to Him in simple prayer, asking not only for relief of the body but for that inward peace which sustains the heart while we wait upon His good providence. Use also the means which wisdom provides, take sufficient water, seek counsel of a physician if the dryness continues, for the Lord often works through appointed means, yet trust not in means alone but in the Lord who dwells with His people and has risen with healing in His wings.
May the Lord grant you relief from this distress and keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him. May He show you the cause if it be His will to do so, and may He give you patience and rest until His healing, in His own way and time, shall be made manifest. I pray that you may prove that the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that whether in health or in infirmity you may find your rest in Him who will not suffer you to be tried beyond what you are able to bear, and who will in all things work for your good.
