My mother is very sick

My mother is very sick, it started with the flu, but the last few days has been losing consciousness. She has had very bad respiratory and gastro-intestinal problems. I found her unresponsive on the bathroom floor on Monday morning and called an ambulance.

She has been admitted to the hospital, but since she arrived there she has developed pneumonia, which seems to be worsening. She seems to be losing all her strength and will to keep fighting. She is afraid.

I am praying that God helps to heal my mother's lungs, bring down her fever, restore her strength (both physical and emotional) and take away her fear.

I'm also praying for the nurses and doctors who are taking care of her. First, I pray that God bless them; they are very giving and very kind, and also very overworked and overtired. I am very grateful that they give so much of themselves to take good care or patients like my mother. Secondly, I pray that they are able to quickly and accurately diagnose my mother and find a treatment that will relieve her suffering.

Comfort this daughter today we ask. Please touch her mother with Your healing today. Give the Drs wisdom as they treat her conditions. May she feel You close by her side we pray. We run to You, for You are our Jehovah-Rophe "The Lord Who Heals."
