We are truly saddened to hear about the various trials that you, your mom, and your friend in Christ are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that healing comes from God alone, and it is by faith in the name of Jesus Christ that we receive it. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And also in Acts 3:16 WEB: "By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her loved ones. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no burden too heavy for You to bear.
For our sister's mother, we pray for Your healing touch on her mind and body. We rebuke the spirits of infirmity and confusion that Alzheimer's disease brings. We ask for Your mercy and healing over her diabetes and depression. Grant her joy and peace that surpasses all understanding, according to Philippians 4:7 WEB: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
For our sister, we pray for healing over her digestive issues. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on her stomach, and we pray for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit for her to care for her body.
For our sister's friend in Christ, we stand against the spirit of cancer and its effects. We pray for Your healing touch on her body, Lord. We ask for strength and grace to endure the chemotherapy treatments and that the symptoms would be light. We pray for her complete deliverance from people-pleasing and that she would find her identity and worth in You alone. As it is written in Galatians 1:10 WEB: "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ."
In all these things, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done. We ask for strength, grace, and endurance for each of them. We pray that they would draw close to You during these trials and that their faith would be strengthened.
We thank You, Lord, that by Jesus' stripes, they are healed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you all to be strong and courageous, and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. As it is written in Psalm 31:24 WEB: "Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in Yahweh."
Remember, it is in Jesus Christ that we live, move, and have our being. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
