My mom has a major mental illness, and she was put in a nursing home over a year ago despite being too young to be in one (in my opinion) from a group home she was living in. She is a ward of the state she resides in. I’m scared they may try to diagnose her with dementia, because of her being in a nursing home and her escapist tendencies. She has been that way for many years. I would say my mom doesn’t have dementia and doesn’t need to be on anymore hard pharmaceutical drugs. If anything I would like them to wean her off Haldol and try something new and better for her condition. I’ve never seen Haldol work for anybody. She will likely be moving soon due to her being a security risk, because she may be close to escaping, and they can’t always keep watching her like a hawk. I really would love for her to be completely healed of her major mental illness and her physical ailments too if the Lord would heal her in her lifetime. It’s a big desire of mine. Thanks to everyone who prays for this. I know it’s a lengthy request.
