We lift up your precious mother before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to envelop her in His peace that surpasses all understanding. The Scriptures tell us, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* (John 14:27). Father, we ask that You quiet her heart and mind, replacing every trace of sadness, worry, or guilt with the sweet assurance of Your presence. Let her rest in the knowledge that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we pray that she would experience the deep, restorative sleep that only You can provide. *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet."* (Proverbs 3:24). May she wake refreshed, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Fill her with the Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, joy, and the fruit of peace. Let her hear the gentle whisper of Jesus in her heart, reminding her that she is deeply loved and that You hold her future securely in Your hands.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirits of heaviness, anxiety, or despair that may be attempting to steal her peace. The Word declares, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* (John 10:10). We stand against every lie of the enemy that seeks to rob her of the joy and rest You have promised. Instead, we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and Your peace guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, if there are any unconfessed burdens or sins weighing on her heart, we pray that You would bring them to light in a gentle and loving way. Remind her that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9). Let her experience the freedom that comes from Your forgiveness and the peace that follows repentance.
We also encourage her to draw near to You through prayer, worship, and the reading of Your Word. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28). May she find solace in Your promises and strength in Your presence. Surround her with godly fellowship and encouragement, so she may be reminded of Your faithfulness through the testimony of others.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this dear mother and for the love she has poured into her family. We ask that You bless her abundantly, not only with peaceful sleep but with a life filled with Your joy, purpose, and hope. May she walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, radiating Your love to those around her. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
