We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation where there is strife and unrest in your home. The Bible tells us in **1 Corinthians 14:33 (WEB)**, *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."* Yet we see that pride and stubbornness are bringing disorder into your household, disrupting the peace and rest that God desires for you. **Proverbs 13:10 (WEB)** warns us, *"Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who receive counsel."* It is clear that this conflict stems from hearts that are not yielding to God’s wisdom or humility.
First, we must address the importance of coming before God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* If you or those involved in this conflict have not surrendered your lives to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Repent of sin, believe in His sacrifice for your salvation, and receive Him as Lord. Only then can true peace and transformation come.
Now, let us pray for your household:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Lord, we ask that You would break the spirit of pride and stubbornness that has taken root in this home. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
