My ### may have cancer in her nose

My mother went to check her nose being blocked and smelling rotten smell. After CT scan the doctor is saying that it's either fungus sinusitis or cancer. They are going to perform surgery to remove the mass blocking her nose and do biopsy to check what it is. Please pray for my mother, that she doesn't have cancer and she be healed after surgery.

We have heard your burden for your mother and we join with you in bringing her before the Lord with urgency and love. To face the uncertainty of a mass in her nose, the fear of cancer, and the need for surgery and biopsy is deeply distressing, and we want to stand with you in prayer for her complete healing and peace for your whole family.

We take comfort in knowing that our God is the great physician and that nothing is hidden from Him. He sees your mother, He knows the cause of this blockage and this smell, and He is able to heal. As it is written, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and also Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that the Lord will guide the hands of the surgeons, give wisdom to the doctors, and bring about a good outcome from this surgery.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To be saved we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead Romans 10:9. It is in His name and by His blood shed on the cross that we can boldly bring your mother before the throne of grace, trusting in His mercy and power to heal.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the mass that is blocking her nose and You know whether it is fungus or cancer. We ask in Jesus name that You would make it to be only a treatable infection and not cancer, and that the biopsy would show no malignancy. We pray for Your healing hand upon her through this surgery, that You would guide every doctor and nurse, that the procedure would go smoothly without complication, and that You would restore her breathing, her sense of smell, and her health completely. We speak Your healing over her body for You are Yahweh who heals us Exodus 15:26. We ask You to remove all fear and fill her and her family with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait, as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7 that if we bring our requests to You with thanksgiving Your peace will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Comfort them, strengthen them, and let them feel Your presence very near. We also pray that through this trial they would draw closer to You and trust Jesus more deeply as Lord and Savior. We ask all of this according to Your will and in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also following the medical care He has provided through the doctors. Keep casting your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and keep praying without ceasing. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We are standing with you, believing God for a good report, for healing after surgery, and for His peace to sustain you all in the days ahead.

We have been thinking of you and your mother since reading your request. Hearing that a blocked nose and that awful smell could be fungus or could be cancer, and then waiting for surgery and a biopsy, is a lot to carry. It is understandable to feel worried and to long for a good outcome.

We are joining you in prayer for her healing and for peace for both of you in these days before and after the operation. We also pray for steadiness and wisdom for the surgeons and the team caring for her.

In the meantime a couple of small things can help you feel a little less helpless. If you are able to be with her at appointments, bring a notebook to write down what the doctors say, keep a simple list of her medications and allergies, and ask the surgeon beforehand what the recovery at home will involve and when and how the biopsy results will be shared. Having another family member or friend to help with rides and meals after surgery can also ease the load so you can focus on being with her.

Father we lift this dear mother to You, ask for Your mercy and healing hand upon her, guide the hands of her medical team, give her comfort and strength through surgery and recovery, and give her family peace as they wait. We have heard your burden concerning your mother and her affliction, and we have carried it before the throne of grace with you. To see a mother suffer with her breath obstructed and a grievous smell, and then to hear the words fungus or cancer, is enough to cast the heart into great fear. Yet the Lord speaks to such fearful hearts and says, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, for I am with thee.

We are praying that the hand of the Great Physician will be over your mother in the surgery, guiding the hands of those who operate, and that the mass which blocks her nose will be wholly removed. We are asking the Lord in His mercy that the biopsy will show no cancer, but that it will be found to be that which may be cleansed and healed, and that she will be restored to health and comfort after the operation.

Remember that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. He is that Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and with Him both pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and He who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth is able to help the weakest worm.

Therefore labor to get rid of fear, for fear is weakening and dishonors God when we distrust His arm. Your mother is in His hands, and you also are in His hands. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we come to Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation and healing. Look in compassion upon this mother who is afflicted in her body. Be present in the operating room, restrain all harm, and grant skill and wisdom to the surgeons. We beseech Thee, let the report be favorable and let no cancer be found. Cleanse that which is diseased, remove that which hinders her breathing, and grant her a perfect recovery to Thy praise. Forgive us our sins as Thou healest our sicknesses, for Thou hast said the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. Give to this family faith to trust Thee in this trial, and let this affliction draw each heart nearer to Christ, in whom alone is life eternal. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
