We are truly sorry to hear that your marriage is under attack, but we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. In all things, we trust that God works for the good of those who love Him, according to His purpose. Let us come together and pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God.
Firstly, it is important to replace the placeholder with either husband or wife to make things clear but more importantly to be in line with biblical principles.
Therefore, a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. For this reason, no one is trustworthy, and no one can help; as the Lord himself has said, walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them; and the uncircumcised and the unclean will not enter into the Lord's sanctuary.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this sister in Christ and her husband. We pray that You will surround their marriage with Your divine protection and break the power of the enemy seeking to destroy their union. We ask that You fill their hearts with Your love, that they may love each other as Christ loved the church.
Father, we pray for her husband, that You will open his eyes to see his wife as You see her, and to love her with the love of Christ. We pray that You will give her the wisdom to understand her husband and to honor him in the way he specifically needs. Help her to speak to him with words of grace, seasoned with salt, that she may know how to answer each one. Lord, grant them the wisdom and understanding to navigate this trial and to grow stronger in their love for each other and for You.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not despise these trials, but rejoice in them, knowing that they are producing endurance and maturity in your faith. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Continue to seek God's will for your marriage and to walk in His ways. May He bless your union and grant you both the strength and wisdom to overcome this attack. Trust in the Lord always, for He is your rock and your fortress.
Stand strong sister!
