Update
Today my brother started waking up.
He is no longer ventilated but only supported.
He partly reacts to his environment and also seems to perceive us as familiar.
He got pneumonia. Overall, we are really relieved that he has taken a significant step towards 'life'!

For every further one he still needs all the support he can get!
