We are concerned to hear that your daughter is not eating well and is too slim. We trust that God is faithful and cares for our needs, including our health and strength. Let us pray for your daughter and discuss this situation.
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned in this prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us address the issue at hand.
In the Bible, we see that food is a blessing from God, and he provides for our needs.
"Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. As the green herb, I have given everything to you" (Genesis 9:3 WEB).
"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB).
As parents, it is our responsibility to ensure that our children are well-fed and nourished, as they are a heritage from the Lord. "Look, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward" (Psalm 127:3 WEB).
Let us pray for your daughter:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter to you. Lord, you know her needs and we ask that you would stir up her appetite and help her to eat well. We pray that she would grow strong and healthy, in Jesus' name.
Father, we also ask for wisdom for her parents. Help them to guide her in making healthy choices and model for her a lifestyle that honors you. Give them creative ideas for preparing meals and make their home a place of nourishment and growth, in Jesus' name.
We pray for more of the fruits of the spirit in this requestor and their family. We teach and admonish the requestor in the Lord Jesus, that just as he has received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as he was taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6-7 WEB).
Finally, we pray for faith in the requestor because we know that he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 WEB).
Lord, we ask for her healing, growth, and increased appetite, in Jesus' name. We also ask that this requestor and their family would be a better servant and child of the Lord Jesus, in Jesus' name.
Amen.
