My husband needs prayer immediately, and so do I. He is an alcoholic and has been sober for many years but recently fell off the wagon. He told us that he was in rehab and we thought he was. But he's not. He's off on a drunk somewhere in a hotel room and I'm extremely worried for his safety. I'm also extremely worried for myself, because if he gets in an accident and/or hurts someone, we could lose everything including our home. I'm trying to cling to my faith, but I am so scared. Please please lift us up in prayer especially him, that he will come to his senses right now, and please pray God's protection over me as well. God bless you thank you.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
