My husband has been having an affair for the last 7-8 months and his away every Friday & weekend since Feb 2013. We have been married 20.5 years and he filed for divorce on me. There has been domestic abuse but not since 7 years ago & verbal abuse from his part. He plans on marrying his mistress, how I know is because God has revealed evidence to me. I believe he loves her or thinks he loves her. He blamed me for his feelings. He was married once before we married so this would be his 3rd marraige. We have two kids a 16 son & 13 daughter. He threaten that if I go after child support & alimony he would touch my retirement and take more from me. He threaten with our house that he pays it. At first I was scared but I'm reading the word of God & he gives me strength. I got a lawyer to defend the rights of the kids & mine. I'm in for a battle because his upset that I didn't sign his agreement. I need prayer for my kids & me. I love hi m & would want to remain married to him. I pray for God to convict him & soften heart. He is a believer. I know that the enemy has attacked my marraige & I ask 'In Jesus Name for Satan to get away from my husband'. At the same time I trust in The Lord for his will because I know he does everything for our good. Please pray for my family. Thank you & God bless

I pray for you and I feel your pain.  My x husband put me through so much.  He was verbally and physically abusive to me.  He still is verbally abusive to me, but I don't have to live with him.  Thankfully he does not express himself with the kids the way he does with me.  I do my best to get along for the kids.  It's been 10 years since we split ways and I'm still on a emotion roller coaster.  We have been back in court for modification of child custody.  The only reason he wants modification is so he doesn't have to pay any more child support.  He has his mother do everything for him with the kids.  I could see doing a week on and a week off if his time was utilized properly, but if he's not going to then I want to raise my children.  I'm a good mom.  I know that I am.  I hope and pray that things go good for you and your children.  Remember that you are a child of God and he is going to Bless You!  When you get stressed take a few deep breathes and say that "I am a child of God and he is going to Bless Me!"  Staying close to God and praying is the best thing.  I talk to him daily.
