I understand and feel your pain. One...you must not let your little boy see you cry like this...be strong for him so you can provide him the security he needs. Reassure him, give him the comfort he needs and don't pass your grief unto him any more than absolutely necessary. Second, pick yourself up emotionally..keep your SELF RESPECT. Do not beg your husband or let him see you crying and feeling like you can't go on without him even though I totally understand how you feel. Believe me I do!! Make him see rather that you have self-respect and project to him that you will be OKAY without him if he insists on breaking your family up. One thing that is very attractive to a man is a woman with self-respect and self confidence. Believe me, I KNOW...I've been there...done all the begging, crying and grieving you can imagine. He looked at me and said..."You're PATHETIC!!" Boy, those words hurt to the core. Yes...cry and grieve. Just don't let him see how much POWER he has over you. Take your power back to yourself, and nurture and love and comfort your SON now. Try your best to take the fear out of his little heart!!...the abandonment feelings he must be going through!! Don't grovel...keep your self respect and project to hubby that you love and miss him but you will be OKAY if he chooses to be stupid enough to lose you and his son!! Bless you my dear...I totally know how you feel. Have a good cry, then pick yourself up and don't wait around ...waiting for him to call. Get yourself busy with something of interest to divert your thoughts. Put a rubber band on your arm and snap it every time your mind wanders to him and how he is doing. He sounds like a very selfish man!! Is this the kind of man you really WANT??? Think about that. Even if he comes back, when will he be wanting to leave AGAIN?? Get your own self image healthy before you choose another man or you will pick the same thing again...subconsciously, even though you may not recognize it at the time. I know...I've been there.
