Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for all that you bestow upon me every day. I thank you for the morning light; I thank you for my wife and three beautiful daughters who truly embody the joy and love you have spoken of in your words.
Lord, I pray for your guidance and approval. I pray that you may bless me with a plan to find new ways to provide the things that this family needs. I pray that you will allow me to work. I pray that you may see it fit to end this drought in my life. The pain that I feel watching them do without the basics, the pain that I feel knowing that I am not providing them is far worse than any pain I have ever known. Lord, I ask that you may please bless these children and their patient, loving mother with a sense of security about what the coming days will bring.
Please allow me to work, Oh Father. Please allow me to serve my purpose as a father and husband-please touch the hearts of those who hire and provide the jobs-please make the way for new opportunies for this family.
