Jesus please let my health improve. Please let my husband pick up the prescription for our son today. Please let my son try to be more calm, understanding and cooperative, and help me around the house. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you in bringing these needs before the Lord together in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling on His name, for it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

We lift up your health to the Great Physician who heals and sustains us. We pray that the Lord would strengthen your body, grant you renewed energy and restore you according to His mercy and will. We remember the promise in Psalm 103:2-3 that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, and in Exodus 15:26 where He reveals Himself as Yahweh who heals you. We also hold to 3 John 1:2 that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. We ask for wisdom for any treatment and for peace as you wait on Him.

We also pray for your husband and thank God for the gift of marriage and for a husband who helps bear the burdens of the household. We pray that he will be able to pick up the prescription for your son today without hindrance and that the Lord would give him strength and attentiveness to care for you and your son well. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We lift up your son as well, asking the Lord to work in his heart to be calm, understanding, cooperative and helpful around the house. We pray that God would give him a gentle and obedient spirit and a desire to honor you as his mother. Scripture teaches in Ephesians 6:1-3 that children should obey their parents in the Lord, for this is right, and that honor brings blessing. We pray also that the Lord would teach him self control and kindness, and that He would give you patience and grace as you guide him. Proverbs 16:24 reminds us that pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones, and we pray your home would be filled with that kind of gracious communication.

Father, we come before You together and ask for Your healing touch upon our sister, for Your provision in the picking up of this prescription today, and for Your Spirit to bring calm and cooperation into her son's heart and a willingness to help in the home. Grant her rest, give her husband diligence and love in his support, and let Your peace rule in their household. We thank You that You hear us when we call on the name of Jesus and we trust Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to look with compassion upon you and your household.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, His people have no need to say, I am sick, for pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. We pray that He will grant you renewed strength according to His wise and merciful will, and that He will bless the means He has appointed for your good. May He incline your husband to this faithful and loving errand, that he may pick up the prescription for your son today without hindrance, for obedience in little things is true obedience, and the Lord honors faithfulness in small duties.

For your son we pray also that the Lord would work in him that obedience which is not of a slave tuned to the crack of the whip, but the obedience of a child, the obedience of love and of faith. Our obedience should begin at home, and it will find its hands full enough there. The exactness of obedience is the very essence of obedience, and it is seen in calmness of temper, in an understanding heart, and in a willingness to help and to serve. Do you not love the child who looks out for occasions and opportunities to please you. So may the Lord grant your son a quiet spirit, a cooperative heart, and a readiness to hearken and to honour his parents, for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. May He teach him to persist in scrupulous obedience throughout the day, turning not to the right hand or to the left, but walking in the middle path of cheerful duty.

We commend you, your husband, and your son to Him who is both Saviour and Master, praying that your home may know the peaceable fruits of righteousness which come by obedience to Christ, and that you may find healing and pardon together, as when Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. May the Lord give you patience in waiting, courage in trusting, and joy in seeing His hand at work for your good and His glory. Amen.
