We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your mother is facing. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God for his healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her mother to You. We pray for Your healing touch upon her mother's body, mind, and spirit.
Lord, we specifically pray for her mother's memory and mind to be healed and restored. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 26:3 WEB: "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." We pray for clear thinking, a sound mind, good orientation in time and space, and no confusion in memory or with people or names.
We also pray for healing of her diabetes, weakness, heart dysfunction and depression. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your promise in Exodus 15:26 WEB: "I am Yahweh who heals you."
Father, we also pray for Your comfort and peace to fill her mother's heart as she mourns the loss of her husband. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB.
We rebuke the spirit of sadness and depression, and pray that You will fill her mother with the fruit of your Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 WEB.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB. He is working everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Stand firm in your faith, and keep praying and believing for your mother's healing. We are with you in prayer and belief.
