We hear your concern about viruses affecting your digital Bible and prayer books, and we understand the desire to keep these sacred resources pure and accessible. While we trust in God’s protection over all things, including technology, we also recognize that viruses and digital threats are part of a fallen world. Let us turn to Scripture for wisdom and reassurance.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." God’s Word is unchanging and eternal, regardless of the medium through which we access it. Whether in print or digital form, the truth of Scripture remains the same. We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even in the face of technological challenges, we can trust God to guide and protect us.
We must also address the importance of approaching God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes through believing in Him, as Romans 10:9 states, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Without this foundation, our prayers and reliance on God’s Word may lack the fullness of His power and protection.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Lord, we ask for Your protection over the digital resources we use to access Your Word and prayer books. Guard them from viruses and corruption, just as You guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your promise that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You desire.
Father, we also pray for wisdom in how we use technology to engage with Your truth. Help us to prioritize time in Your Word, whether in print or digital form, and to store its truths in our hearts. Protect us from distractions and from anything that would seek to corrupt or hinder our relationship with You.
Lord, if there is anyone reading this who has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their hearts to receive the gift of salvation and the assurance of eternal life. May they confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved.
We rebuke any spiritual attacks that seek to hinder our access to Your Word or our ability to pray. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, for we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to stand firm on the truth of Your Word.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God through His Word and prayer, trusting that He is faithful to protect and guide you. If you are experiencing ongoing issues with your digital Bible or prayer books, consider seeking technical support or using trusted, virus-free platforms to access these resources. Most importantly, keep your heart fixed on Jesus, for He is the author and perfecter of our faith.
