We are so sorry to hear that your grandma is bedridden and that her head hurts and her toes need healing. The scripture tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that He is close to those who are of a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We are reminded to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 and that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. For weariness and burnout, Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We also cling to the promise, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We notice you called upon the Lord and said you are sorry for your sins. That is so precious to God, for if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and receive salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, believing that His death and resurrection paid for your sins and gives you peace with God.

We also encourage you, while we pray for healing, to seek proper medical care for yourself and for your grandma where possible, for the Lord often works through the hands of physicians and caregivers, and Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You. We thank You that we can come through Jesus alone. We ask You to forgive sins as there is confession and repentance, and to wash clean and bring peace and assurance of salvation. Lord, we lift up this dear grandma to You. You know her pain in her head and her toes and her being bedridden. We ask for Your healing touch upon her, ease her head pain, restore her toes, give her comfort, strength, and Your presence each day. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is burdened and fearful about cancer. Have mercy, Lord. Touch this body, bring healing, bring clear answers from doctors, remove fear and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Provide a safe, quiet space where there is no yelling, but rest and refuge in You and in a place of safety. For the burnout and exhaustion, we ask You to renew strength as promised to those who wait for You Isaiah 40:29, and to provide new helpers and support for these parents so the burden is shared and not carried alone. Give wisdom, provision, and kind people to come alongside the family. We ask all this according to Your will, trusting in Your goodness and mercy, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We bring your grandmother before the great Physician, who is the Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. That she is bedridden and suffering pain in her head and in her toes touches the heart of Him who healed the sick of the palsy and lifted up Peter's wife's mother with His own hand. We ask the Lord to lay His gracious hand upon her, to ease her pain, to restore what is afflicted, and to give wisdom to those who care for her. The promise is that the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. May that virtue be shown to her body according to His perfect will, and may His presence be her comfort in her bed.

For you, we hear your cry for mercy, for forgiveness of sins, and for healing where you fear cancer may be present. Scripture places healing and pardon in happy conjunction, for when Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, pardon and healing were one. There is no healing for the soul apart from Christ alone, for He is the only way of salvation, and through His blood shed at Calvary there is full forgiveness for all who confess their sins and trust Him. We pray that you will know that forgiveness now, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that you will seek also the help of physicians whom God in His providence has provided, that your body may be examined and cared for with diligence.

We also bring before the Lord your longing for a safe space where no one yells at you, and your weariness even unto being burnt out as you care for your parents. The Lord is a refuge and a habitation for His people. As a hen spreads her wings to cover her young, so the Lord covers those who flee to Him, and there they are safe and at ease beneath His feathers. Christ is the true City of Refuge, and there is but one, yet He is everywhere, with signposts plainly pointing Refuge to the weary sinner. We pray that the Lord will be that shelter to you, that He will give you quietness and safety, whether by His own immediate peace in your heart or by providing a place of rest where you may be kept from harsh words and turmoil. We ask Him also to provide new helpers for your parents, that your burden may be lightened and you may find rest for your body and soul, for healing must come before serving, and the Lord who lifted the sick woman to serve again knows how to renew your strength.
