During my journey as a child of God, I can say for sure that God has always proven to be the sustainer and provider of my life, Hallelujah!
I have had some challenges which seemed like an impossibility and a "no way out" situation. But in the end, I realise God had me in mind all this while and wanted to prove to me that He is indeed Jehovah Jireh (My provider).
It's no lie when the Bible says my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches. This is because even though we sometimes think God didn't in one way or another provide our "wants", I believe that because His riches and love is greater than our wildest imaginations, He wouldn't have provided in the way we want or expect Him to. The devil, being the liar he is, tries to blind us from the faithfulness and kindness of God to us! But I pray in the name of Jesus that the God who parts the sea and gives sight to the blind will keep our eyes open to see all His great works in our life! That we will forever be grateful and thankful for all His greatness.
Let's not forget "Our thoughts are not His thoughts, neither His ways our ways."
God's way is higher than the highest mountains and His works are wonderful. I reckon He would cease to be God if we understood everything He does. So I pray that God gives us a snippet of His understanding...and trust God, a snippet of His understanding will blow your mind of God and His wonderful works! Because He is a great God!
Our God is awesome and greatly to be praised. There is nobody like Him and as David says, I've never seen the righteous forsaken. He is not a man that He will lie, but one might ask, what about the Christians begging for their daily bread? With a God as awesome as ours, His ways are wonderful and His love is everlasting. What we may see is a struggling Christian, but let's not forget that Man shall not live by bread alone. Because in the eyes of God, this man could be rich, fat and full with the word that proceeds from the mouth of God, and that alone...according to the word of God is what Man shall live by.
We may ask why God allows one to struggle more than the other. Is He not the same yesterday, today and forever? Well, we all have our calling in life and have our challenges. One's challenge would not be a challenge to another. That's how unique we are as children of God! This is why our gifts are not to be kept in the closet. We are gifted for the edification of the church and should share our strengths (Wisdom, finances, giftings) like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. We are meant to put our giftings on the lampstand, and give light to all that are in the House! Someone needs to see the sufficiency of God's grace to them through your gifts, because His divine power has given us EVERYTHING we need for life and godliness...." 2 Peter 1:3. We as
the branches are connected to one true vine, one body. We are all incomplete on our own, as need support from the giftings of others in the body of Christ. Through Christ we are given "everything we need for life and godliness." Such amazing grace Hallelujah!
