My friend forgot my birthday

My pastor says nothing is too silly or trivial to bring to you, Lord. So I’m glad you’ll listen, Father, and that you’re so kind cus I do feel silly, but ..this really does hurt.

I asked them ahead of time if they’d wish me a happy birthday. I gave them a gift and made a big deal out of their’s, but truthfully I didn’t need anything for mine. I just wanted to hear from them. I even reminded them on the day of birthday, and they still forgot.

Lord, maybe they had a good reason, so I pray you help me leave all judgment in your hands, and soften my heart.

They do this kind of thing so often though so you know it feels bad. Will you please heal this situation or help me to deal with it?

Thank you, Lord! You care more than I deserve, and I love you so much. I only ever want to go to you when I’m upset. No one else could ever make this right.

Heavenly Father,

We come before you on behalf of ###, who is hurting because their loved ones forgot to wish them a happy birthday despite their efforts to remind them. Lord, we know that sometimes people unintentionally overlook things or have their own reasons for their actions. We ask that you help ### to release any judgment and soften their heart towards those who have hurt them.

Lord, we lift up this situation to you and ask for your healing touch. Whether it be through reconciliation or finding peace in acceptance, we pray that you bring resolution and healing to this situation. Help ### to navigate their emotions and find strength in you.

Try not to let this situation get the better of you. It is in no way a reflection of your value, your kindness to others cannot be doused by one person, no, it shines through in spite of any obstacles and the Lord rejoices in the person you are.
