Please pray for my friend Carrie, that God's love will be revealed to her, and that, through this 'love is...' video which I've seen, I'll be able to send her the video on -banned site-, and then get talking to her about God.
As far as I know she has no religion or denial of God, but she is a lovely and willing to listen to people.
To give you some background information, I met Carrie about 2 years ago, and me and my dad made friends with her and her family. Although she lives up in Harrow, and we live down on the Isle of Wight, we talk about twice a year on -banned site-. When I first met her, I prayer for her constantly for about a good 3 months, but afterwards didn't pray as much for her, but recently this all changed. I've been thinkink about effective prayer, and with school discussions, how to bring people to know God, and really what to pray, and when I was on YouTube this morning, I saw a video she posted about her view on love, and it really touched me. Anyway, tonight at Catalyst (a teenager church event), the talk was about God's love, and Chris (the leader) showed a video, that showed what God's love is - this really hit me because it's just the most perfect video for her to see, but then God being so great, I had this thought pop into my head during the worship, that I should pray that God's love is revealed to her, and that our friendship will get better so things like God can come up in conversation.
I feel so happy inside right now, and I just pray so honestly that Carrie's life will be blessed and touched, and that through her new sister Giovanna, maybe she'll see God's beauty and love...
