My Father

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I need special prayer tonite. My Father is in his last days of life and he is under the care of hospice. I am the only child and my Mother and I are under so much stress. I know that my Father is ready to meet his Savior and I am at peace about that. Sometimes I feel like I am so alone facing all of this but i know that my Lord does not put anymore on me than I can bear. Please remember my family in your prayers. It gives me such joy to know that soon my Father will have no more pain, tears, sorrow and he will be with his Lord. thank you for your prayers.

Jesus, bless Donna, I pray you show her that her father may be in a better place....I know she knows this but her feelings for her father are natural. She doesn't want to let go and I know how she feels. Lord, please...when her father gets to heaven someday, I pray you wrap your arms around him and embrace him as the child of yours that he is. He knows you will be waiting on him, I pray he have some more time if it be your will. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I am so thankful that donna's father is ready to go home! I am so thankful that his daughter knows that he will be going to a better place and that all his cares on this earth will vanish. She will see him in Paradise! May your hand be upon Donna and her mother as they wait. This is a very hard time and I pray you send them kind and compassionate friends to help them through it. Place your hand around this family. Send them your sweet, sweet peace. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

Dear Lord we lift up Donna to you and we ask that you bless her with comfort, strength and peace, for now and the days ahead. God thank you for the peace that comes with knowing that in Christ we really have no death but really more of a home comming, but for we still here, it is a difficult and emotional time. God I ask that you provide all that is needed to Donna moment by moment, and bless her for being a comfort to her Mother at this time. God we thank you for your kindness and mercy on this family and we thank you for hearing our prayer. All things we ask for your glory in Jesus name.

Donna, we are still here. We stand with you.

Lord, help our sister to perservere, to stand fast in the knowledge that you are in control, that you are preparing a place in Heaven for her father and when his mansion is ready, YOU WILL call him home. Bless this daughter and sister in Christ. Let your love flow over her and fill her. Give her wisdom to make wise and godly choices. Give her strength for each new day brings it's own situations. Be with her mother. Send them good, caring and loving people in their life. A kind word goes a long way when you are stressed and don't know which way to turn. Let her feel your presence. Let her be the support her mom needs to watch and wait. Thank you for giving them a little more time with father, to tell him how much he means to them while they still have time. What a blessing! How hard this must be! Please give Donna Elisha's portion of Your Holy Spirit. Comfort and strengthen Donna and her mother as they face these difficult days. Please let Donna's father be pain free and at peace. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Father God, I beseech You to grant Donna and her mother the same strength, comfort and peace you granted my family only weeks ago at hospice with our mother. The quiet peace of mom's final hours could only have come about by Your loving mercy, and I pray that You would fill Donna and her mother with the same support. Allow them to whisper gently into dad's ear that it's okay to go, You will make sure they are taken care of ~ that they do not grieve losing the days to come, but are joyful of spirit for all of the days that they have shared. God bless the hospice staff that is looking after Donna's father ~ they are a special breed Father and I know You are the reason why. No matter how ready we feel, it's always hard, Father. Dwell within the hearts, minds and spirits of Donna and her mother, grant her father a peaceful and safe passage from this world into Yours. Praise, honor and glory to You alone, Father. Amen.
