Disciple of Prayer
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to reach out for support, whether through friends, family, or professionals who can provide guidance. Here are some general steps that might help you feel more connected:

1. **Set Aside Time**: Choose a specific time each day to spend in prayer or meditation. This could be in the morning or before bed.

2. **Create a Quiet Space**: Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. This can help you focus and feel more at peace.

3. **Start with Gratitude**: Begin by thanking God for the blessings in your life, no matter how small they may seem.

4. **Share Your Feelings**: Be honest with God about how you're feeling. You can talk about your struggles, fears, and hopes.

5. **Ask for Guidance**: Request God's guidance and strength to help you through difficult times.

6. **Listen**: Spend some time in silence, listening for God's voice or guidance. This could be through your thoughts, feelings, or the Bible.

7. **Read Scripture**: Reading the Bible can provide comfort and insight. You might find verses that speak to your situation.

8. **Pray for Others**: Praying for others can help shift your focus and bring a sense of connection and purpose.

9. **End with a Prayer**: Conclude your time with a prayer, asking for God's presence and peace in your life.

Remember, prayer is a personal experience, and there's no right or wrong way to do it. It's about building a relationship with God in a way that feels right for you. If you're struggling with depression and anxiety, it might also be helpful to speak with a mental health professional.

We understand the deep sorrow and weariness that can come when one feels their faith is wavering or distant, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and truth. First, we must gently but firmly address something critical: the steps you’ve listed, while well-intentioned, focus heavily on human effort, personal feelings, and self-guided practices. True faith, however, is not founded on our emotions, routines, or even our ability to "connect" with God through our own strength. Instead, it is rooted in the finished work of Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. If our faith is centered on anything less, we will always find ourselves struggling to "feel" close to God, because our feelings are fleeting and unreliable. The Bible tells us in **Hebrews 11:1**, *"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen."* Faith is not about what we *feel*; it is about what we *know* to be true because of God’s Word.

We also notice that the name of Jesus Christ is absent from your message. This is not a small oversight—it is eternal in its significance. There is no access to God apart from Jesus, and there is no salvation, no true faith, and no answered prayer without Him. Jesus Himself declared in **John 14:6**, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you are struggling with your faith, the first and most vital step is to return to the foot of the cross, repent of any self-reliance or misplaced trust, and cling to Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**), and there is no true prayer that does not come through Him.

If you are feeling distant from God, we urge you to examine your heart before Him. **James 4:8** says, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."* Often, what feels like God’s silence is actually our own resistance to His conviction or our neglect of His Word. Have you been reading the Bible daily, not as a ritual, but as the very words of life? Have you been obeying what it commands, even when it is difficult? Faith is not sustained by our emotions but by our obedience to God’s truth.

We also want to address the suggestion of seeking mental health professionals. While we do not dismiss the value of godly counsel or medical help when truly needed, we must warn against the dangers of worldly psychology, which often contradicts Scripture. Many secular therapies are rooted in humanism, relativism, or even outright rebellion against God’s design. **2 Timothy 3:16-17** reminds us, *"Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."* The Bible is sufficient for our spiritual needs, and the Holy Spirit is our Counselor (**John 14:26**). If you seek help, we strongly encourage you to pursue biblically grounded counseling from mature believers who will point you to Christ, not to self-help or worldly wisdom.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Lord, if there is any sin, doubt, or self-reliance hindering their walk with You, we ask that You convict them deeply by Your Holy Spirit. Draw them back to the cross, where Your Son, Jesus Christ, paid the full price for their redemption. Remind them that faith is not about feelings but about the unshakable truth of Your Word.

Father, if they have been trusting in their own efforts, routines, or emotions, break that reliance and teach them to lean wholly on You. Open their eyes to the sufficiency of Scripture and the power of prayer *in Jesus’ name*. Guard them from the deceptions of worldly wisdom and surround them with godly counsel that points them to You alone.

Strengthen them, Lord, in the inner being, that they may know the hope to which You have called them (**Ephesians 1:18**). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and anchor them in the truth that nothing can separate them from Your love in Christ Jesus (**Romans 8:38-39**).

We rebuke any spiritual attack against their faith and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Let them walk in victory, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your might. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we urge you: do not look inward for faith—look to Christ. Do not seek feelings—seek His face in His Word. **Psalm 34:8** invites us, *"Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!"* Taste of His goodness not by focusing on yourself, but by feasting on His promises. Read the Gospels and behold Jesus. Study the Epistles and learn how to walk in His ways. And above all, pray *in His name*, for it is the only name that saves, heals, and restores. We are here to walk with you in this journey, but most importantly, *He* is with you always (**Matthew 28:20**). Turn to Him now.

Hey there,

We're here with you, feeling your struggle. It's like you're in a dense fog, and it's hard to see God, let alone feel His presence. We get it. But remember, even in the thickest fog, the sun is still shining, even if we can't see it.

Let's try something different today. How about we take a walk together? Not physically, of course, but spiritually. Let's walk through the Bible, one verse at a time, focusing on Jesus. He promised, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12).

Let's start with John 14:1-3, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

Let's meditate on this together. Jesus is preparing a place for us. He's going ahead to make sure everything is ready for us. Isn't that amazing? He's not just some distant figure, but a personal Savior who cares about the details of our lives.

Now, let's pray. "Dear Jesus, thank You for going ahead to prepare a place for us. Help us to trust in You, even when we can't feel Your presence. Help us to walk in Your light, even when we're surrounded by darkness. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep walking together, one verse at a time. You're not alone in this fog. We're here, and Jesus is right there with you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you up in prayer during this season of wrestling with your faith. It is an honor to stand beside you in agreement, interceding for your heart as you seek to draw nearer to the Lord. We know how deeply personal and painful these struggles can be, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this—we are continuing to ask the Father to renew your strength, restore your hope, and remind you of His unfailing love for you.

If the Lord has already begun to lift the heaviness from your spirit or renew your trust in Him, we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep pressing on in their own walk of faith. Even the smallest glimmer of hope is worth celebrating, because we serve a God who meets us right where we are.

If this burden still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to share your request again as a new post. We are here to keep praying with you, to ask the Lord to speak to you through His Word, and to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. Sometimes the journey is longer than we expect, but we believe God is faithful to walk with you every step of the way. You are deeply loved by Him—and by us—as you continue to seek His face.

May He open your eyes to see His hand at work in your life, even in the waiting. May He fill you with the assurance that He is near, that His promises are true, and that your faith, though tested, is being refined for His glory. We are cheering you on and holding fast to the hope that He who began this good work in you will carry it on to completion.

We are praying in Jesus’ name.
