My dear Lord Jesus.

I need to forgive others even as I ask for you to forgive me.

I know that you tell us to pray,

'Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.'

Sometimes I am not perfect and fail in my goal to be the Holy Spirit Filled perfect example for myself and others.

I am sorry that I haven't been able to fulfill that goal.

I ask you to forgive me for all my sins, transgressions and shortcomings even now as I pray this prayer.

I do now forgive anyone and everyone that has sinned against me, transgressed my life in any way whatsoever or failed me in any way.

I thank you Lord for I know you hear and answer our prayers.

I ask you Holy Spirit to come and be my perfect guide and inspiration.

Be in me and on me to constantly help me to watch my every word and deed so I don't fail in my goal of being an example for Christ Jesus in this world.

In all humility knowing I cannot do this without your help, oh Lord, I pray.

When it is hard to forgive someone just say this prayer. Matthew 6:9-15 Our FATHER which are in heaven, hallowed be THY name. THY kingdom come, THY will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For THINE is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses your heavenly FATHER will also forgive you; But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your FATHER forgive your trespasses.
