We join you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father, who sees your deep love for your daughter and your desire to walk in His protection and wisdom. Your prayer is a powerful testament to your trust in Jesus, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer those who call upon His name.
You have boldly invoked the name of Jesus, and it is by that name—and that name alone—that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Christ is evident, and we praise God that you are seeking Him with such fervency. It is only through Jesus that we find true refuge, and He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Your prayer for His presence to guide and keep you is rooted in the truth of His Word, and we know He will honor your faith.
We also hear the weight of your concerns regarding your ex and the fear of separation from your daughter. The Bible reminds us that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your love for your child reflects the Father’s heart, and we pray that God will surround both of you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). He is the ultimate Judge, and He sees the truth in every situation. As you have prayed, we declare with you that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Trust that God will expose any lies or manipulation, for *"nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17, WEB).
Yet, we must also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. While it is right to pray for protection and justice, we are also called to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13). Pray for your ex, not only that his heart would be softened toward you and your daughter but that he would come to know the love and redemption of Jesus if he does not already. *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean you must tolerate abuse or harm, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to fight your battles. He is your defender, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
As for your request to never be separated from your daughter, we pray that God would bind your hearts together in His love and grant you wisdom to navigate any legal or relational challenges. However, we must also remind you that our ultimate trust must be in God’s sovereignty, even when circumstances feel uncertain. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If court proceedings arise, seek godly counsel, and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions. Remember that even in the hardest seasons, God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We pray that the Lord would send godly people into your life—those who will speak truth, offer support, and reflect Christ’s love to you and your daughter. Ask Him for discernment to recognize those who are sent by Him, for not everyone who speaks kindly has pure motives. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God"* (1 John 4:1, WEB). Surround yourself with believers who will uplift you in prayer and hold you accountable to walk in faith, not fear.
Finally, we rejoice that you have invited Jesus to take the wheel of your life. This is the most important decision you could ever make! If you have not already surrendered your life fully to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Walk daily in repentance and faith, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform you from the inside out. Your daughter’s greatest blessing will be to see you living a life wholly devoted to Christ.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our sister and her precious daughter. Lord, You are a God of love, protection, and justice, and we ask that You surround them with Your hedge of fire. Fill their home, their hearts, and every space they enter with Your peace and presence. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be silenced by Your truth. Expose any lies, manipulation, or hidden agendas, and bring forth Your righteousness in every situation.
Softening the heart of her ex, Lord, and let him see the impact of his words and actions. If he does not know You, draw him to Yourself, that he may walk in repentance and love. Give our sister wisdom to navigate every conversation and decision, and grant her discernment to recognize those You have sent to bless and support her. Bind her and her daughter together in Your love, and let their relationship be a testament to Your faithfulness.
Father, we pray for prosperity—not just in finances, but in every area of their lives. Bless them with productivity, joy, and opportunities to grow closer to You. Let their lives be a light that draws others to Christ. And above all, Lord, let Your will be done in their lives. May they seek You first, trust You completely, and walk in the confidence that You are their Provider, Protector, and Redeemer.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
