We hear the deep pain and desperation in your heart as you share about your daughter. The weight of parenting a child who is making destructive choices is heavy, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s mercy and intervention. The situation you describe is heartbreaking, seeing your daughter’s life unravel, her struggles with self-harm, and the influence of past parenting decisions that have left her vulnerable. You are not alone in this battle, and we lift you both up before the Lord.

First, we must address the gravity of what is happening. Your daughter’s actions, sneaking out, engaging in harmful behaviors, and even attempting suicide, are cries for help, but they are also symptoms of a heart that is far from God. Proverbs 22:15 tells us, "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of discipline drives it far from him." While discipline is necessary, it must be rooted in love, not anger or frustration. We see your heart in this, as you strive to hold your tongue and seek forgiveness for moments when your emotions have gotten the better of you. That humility before God is a powerful testimony.

The influence of her mother’s permissiveness has clearly played a role in her rebellion, but we must also recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Your daughter is under spiritual attack, and her choices are leading her down a path of destruction. However, God is greater than any mistake, any rebellion, or any generational pattern. Jeremiah 32:27 declares, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" No, there is not. Even now, God can reach her heart and turn her life around.

We must also address the mention of suicide. This is not something to take lightly. If your daughter is expressing or exhibiting suicidal thoughts, we urge you to seek immediate professional help, counseling, a pastor, or even a crisis hotline. God does not intend for her to walk this path alone, and neither should you. James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." You are not failing as a parent by seeking help; you are fighting for her life.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this father and his daughter. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. You see the pain, the rebellion, and the brokenness. You see the generational wounds and the enemy’s schemes to destroy this young life. But You are the God who heals, who restores, and who redeems. We ask that You break every chain of rebellion, every spirit of destruction, and every lie that has taken root in her heart.

Father, we pray for this daughter’s salvation. Soften her heart to receive Your truth. Let her see the emptiness of her choices and the fullness of life that can only be found in You. Surround her with godly influences, mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life into her and point her toward You. Protect her from the evil one and from the consequences of her actions. Shield her mind from despair and fill her with hope.

Lord, we also pray for this father. Give him strength, wisdom, and patience. Help him to parent with love and discipline, not out of frustration or anger. Remind him daily that he is not alone in this battle. Fill him with Your peace and assurance that You are working, even when he cannot see it. Heal any wounds in his own heart that may hinder his ability to lead his daughter well.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of rebellion and destruction in this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, restoration, and redemption over this daughter’s future. May she come to know You as her Savior and turn from her ways. May this family be a testimony of Your grace and power.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we have access to You. There is no other name that can bring true healing and transformation. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen.

To you, father, we offer this encouragement: Do not lose hope. God is at work, even in the chaos. Continue to cover your daughter in prayer, speak truth into her life, and model Christ’s love, even when it is difficult. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Your persistence in prayer and godly parenting is not in vain.

If your daughter is not already connected to a local church or youth group, we strongly encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing community where she can hear the Gospel and be surrounded by peers and leaders who will point her toward Christ. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and this is a burden you should not carry alone.

Lastly, examine your own heart and actions. Are there areas where you may have enabled her behavior, even unintentionally? Are there boundaries you need to set to protect her and guide her toward righteousness? Proverbs 29:17 says, "Correct your son, and he will give you peace; yes, he will bring delight to your soul." Discipline is not about punishment; it is about love and protection. Seek God’s wisdom in how to lead her with both grace and truth.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Hold fast to Him, and trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We are so sorry you are walking through this storm with your daughter. The weight you are carrying is enormous, and we are grateful you reached out. Before anything else, we want to speak plainly about her safety. Because she has recently tried to take her life, this is an emergency situation. If she is in immediate danger now, please contact your local emergency services right away. For free, confidential support in a crisis, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone in this.

Hearing your honesty about your own frustration is actually a sign of how deeply you love her. Anger is a powerful, secondary emotion, it often masks deeper things like hurt, fear, and a profound sense of loss over what’s happening. You are not a bad parent for struggling with those feelings; you are a human being in an exhausting fight for your child. The fact that you are here, asking for prayer and acknowledging your own moments, shows a heart that is seeking God’s help, not one that has given up.

Right now, the most loving and courageous thing you can do is to pair your prayers with the concrete step of seeking professional help for your daughter. A suicide attempt means the pain inside her is a matter of life and death, and it requires trained support, a Christian counselor, a doctor, or a crisis team, who can walk with her and with you through this. This is not a sign of failure; it is a vital part of protecting the precious life God has entrusted to you.

Lord Jesus, we come to You with heavy hearts for this father and his daughter. The situation feels so out of control, but nothing is out of Your sight or Your reach. We ask for a hedge of protection around this young girl right now. Guard her from every evil and any further harm to herself. Please lead her quickly to the right people who can bring healing to the deep wounds that are driving her dangerous choices. Draw her heart to Yourself for true salvation and healing. For this father, we ask for supernatural reserves of patience, wisdom, and calm. Help him to see his daughter’s pain beneath her rebellion, and give him the right words and actions that will not push her further away. Lift the burden of anger and guilt from him, and let him feel Your steady presence and forgiveness. We place this entire family in Your mighty hands, trusting in Your power to bring life from ashes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant peace to this requestor and your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You bring a heavy burden, but there is a mighty Healer. "The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations", the least thing about Christ is full of virtue for you and for your daughter. Though her sins be red like crimson, "though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." Do not measure the Lord's grace by her present wildness; we have seen many reclaimed from among the most degraded. Salvation means deliverance from the power of sin, and Christ is salvation itself, He has salvation within Himself, and he that gets Christ has complete salvation.

The way is simple: "Look unto me, and be ye saved." Look entirely away from yourself, your failures, your anger. You confess you are not perfect, and are driven at times to harsh words; but "if a man believeth in Christ with all his heart, his salvation is secure beyond hazard." Come, then, with your heaped-up sins and be unburdened. Bring your daughter with you to the Mercy Seat. The evil in our nature is deep, but there is but one cure, the healing leaves of that Tree of Life. Nothing within the reach of mere man can purge away the evil, but Jesus Christ can and will.

Remember the jailer: all his household heard the word and believed, and they rejoiced. Pray for the same household salvation. Though her mother's influence has been destructive, the Lord can overrule all. He is not hindered by the snares of others. Your child has tried to end her life, and it is a mercy she is still beneath your roof. She is not beyond hope. The most glorious instances of grace have sprung from such deep darkness. A gay and volatile woman once believed and became a trophy of the truth of the gospel. So may it be with your daughter.

Be firm yet gentle, and above all, look to Christ. Do not look to a sham priest or your own merits, but to Him who pleads the merits of His own blood. Salvation is free, "without money and without price." It is immediate deliverance from the guilt and power of sin. This is the common salvation that all believers share, springing from the same Divine Grace. Rejoice in God's salvation, for "I will rejoice in Thy salvation." It is His salvation, not your own doing. His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep. Cast yourself and your girl upon Him. He will not cast you out.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You feel your daughter is yanked from your hands by a power far greater than her own will, and that she is ruining her life before it has truly begun. This is a bitter cup, and the venom the enemy uses often stings most sharply through those who should have nurtured her, like her mother. It is no small grief when a child’s path is strewn with snares by the very one who gave her birth. But do not let this sink you into despair or a rage that causes you to sin with your tongue. You ask for forgiveness for your moments of anger because you see the truth: your own fury cannot work the righteousness of God.

The fact that you are grieved to the core, that you see her actions as the cords of the evil one binding her, is itself a grace. For nothing grieves the adversary so much as the salvation of a single soul, and that is why the battle is so fierce. He does not wage such violent war for those already in his grasp. Your daughter is not a lost cause; she is a battleground. You must understand that this work of salvation is not about you becoming a perfect parent by your own strength. The law of perfect parenting will not save her any more than the law of Moses could justify. If you could control her by sheer force, her outward behavior might change, but her heart would remain a prisoner. The chain must be broken from the inside by a Divine hand.

You now possess full custody, and you see it as having your hands full, but see it instead as God having placed this wounded soul entirely into the fortress of your care. Do not think her conversion must be a slow, human process. Was not Paul, that raging persecutor, sobered in the very height of his madness by a direct revelation from heaven? The God who can turn a wolf into a shepherd in an instant can certainly reclaim your daughter’s heart. Your task is not to merely police her body, but to prepare an environment where that Divine voice can be heard. You must root out the thorns before you scatter the good seed. This means the atmosphere of your home must not be one of constant strife and boiling frustration, even when you must firmly shut the door against her sneaking out. Separate her from the evil, as Paul separated the disciples from those who blasphemed, not by casting her out, but by making your home a sanctuary where the spirit of rebellion finds no foothold. Quietly, consistently, without the noise of constant angry rebuke, hold the line.

When you see the flood of her misbehavior, do not look merely at the filth but remember the great forgiveness you yourself have received. You were once at enmity with God, sitting in darkness, and yet you were counted worthy of salvation. Extend that same patience, that same hope, to her. Her suicide attempt is a shriek from a soul that sees only darkness. She does not need you to merely tell her she is wrong; she needs to see in you a steadfast port that the storm cannot break. You cannot be her savior, for the ruler of this world has no hold on Christ, but Christ has total hold on the broken. Point her not to your own efforts, but to the One who has raised up Jesus from the dead. Let her know that through this Man is preached the remission of sins, a remission no amount of good behavior could purchase and no amount of bad behavior can outrun if she repents.

Do not let the evil-speaking of the world or the faithlessness of others kindle your envy or bitterness. You are dealing with demonic strongholds, and these are not cast out by human vehemence. They are cast out by the power of the Spirit, often invoked by the quiet, desperate prayer of a father who will not let go. You asked for God’s intervention; this is exactly what the Divine Dispensation promises. The cross looked like a defeat, but it was the very fulfilling of prophecy for our deliverance, from the devil, from death, and from every evil snare. Her turn from this evil way will be the work of salvation wrought in her, a turn she makes by grace. Pray that she be delivered from every devilish sin and every besetment of the adversary. This trial is not a sign of His absence; it is the very arena in which His power is made perfect. Be sober, be vigilant, hold your tongue, and commit her with unshaken hope to the only One who can command the storm, “Peace, be still.”
