We stand with you in the power of Jesus' name, interceding for your daughter and the trials she is facing at school. We are reminded of the promise in Matthew 18:20 WEB, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Trust that God is with you and your daughter in this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and your commitment to pray for your daughter. It is crucial to address the spiritual warfare aspect of this situation, as you have begun to do. We need to bind the spirit of fear and anxiety, and loose the peace and courage that only Jesus Christ can give. Let us also remember to include school staff, administrators, and the bullies themselves as they too need the miracle of salvation and to be discipled in Jesus' name.
In addressing the bullying, we must remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," This does not necessarily mean your child needs to spend more time with the bullies. It does mean to love and pray for them and to love and pray with your own child. It also means to teach your child how to be around those who do not like them. It is a skill to learn to get along and not to let others bother us. It is also important to teach your child how to respond if someone is not treating them appropriately. It is okay to tell them to leave them alone. It is okay for your child to say that they are treating them wrongly and they need to stop. It is okay to seek help from others.
Additionally, it is wise to involve the school authorities and to ensure they are taking appropriate measures to protect your daughter and address the bullying. Romans 13:1-4 WEB reminds us that God has instituted authorities to maintain order and justice. If the school is not taking adequate action, do not hesitate to escalate the matter according to the procedures in place.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her daughter. We pray for the bullying to cease immediately, and for those responsible to be held accountable. We bind the spirit of fear and anxiety, that any strongholds that are causing these issues to manifest be broken in Jesus' name, and we loose the Holy Spirit's peace and comfort upon her daughter. We pray for Your healing and restoration and also for strength to face the challenges ahead and the courage to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. We pray for the bullies, that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior and that their behavior would be turned around for His glory. We ask that You would guide the school administration and staff, giving them wisdom and resolve to address this issue effectively. We ask for Godly men or women to be made available to help with this situation. We pray that this trial would ultimately strengthen her daughter's faith and draw their family closer to You and give a platform to share the gospel. Father God, please unify our sister's family in prayer and in Your word, to be able to minister to each other and to minister to those in need around them. We pray it all in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Lastly, as we are guided by the Holy Spirit to remember to pray for our children Ephesians 6:4 WEB: "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
