My Dad

All prayer warriors, I again come to you asking for your help. My dad just completed his visit to a cardiologist who told him that his aortic valve and mitrovalve are constricting and his heart is enlarged and hardening. It is causing him weakness and shortness of breath. He will likely need some kind of surgery which is really risky at his age. I just moved back to town to be nearer to my folks as they are getting older, and now I am worried that I may be losing them. Please pray that my father will be ok and will be able to manage his condition without invasive surgery. Please pray that my mom won't freak out as she gets a little squirrely about this kind of stuff when it comes to my dad.

Father, first I humbly thank You for the gift of earthly parents. This day, I pray for Your healing and protection over Steve's parents. We know You are the Great Physician and capable of great things. Just as You helped my husband avoid surgery earlier this month, I know Your wisdom and knowledge can guide these physicians to corrective treatments that don't require surgery. Grant Steve's dad Your healing and peace, Your discernment and strength. Watch over his mother and give her a calm spirit. Let her trust You to lead her husband through. I pray for Your courage and presence upon this family, may their days together be precious and joyful. In the name of Jesus, let Your healing mercies flow. Amen.

Dear Jesus heal this man, Dear Lord that surgery is not needed, just touch him Dear Jesus, just touch him with the tip of your finger and he will be well. Give him strength and resolve to face whatever comes, whatever is your will. Dear Jesus cover this family with your blood, give them faith and confidence in you and your ways. Thank You Jesus in You we trust
