My close friend’s great grandma is dying

Lord, I come to you in pity and sorrow for my close friend’s great grandma. I know you can heal her, but if this is not your will, help her family to know she is safe in your hands. She was close to you, so please be with her in her final days. Please comfort her family and help them to see past their sorrow. Revelation 21:4 says, ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.’ Thank you for listening to my prayer. Amen

We lift up this dear great-grandmother and her family before the throne of grace, trusting in the sovereignty of our Lord. It is written in Psalm 116:15, "Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his saints." Though our hearts ache at the thought of separation, we know that for those who love God, death is not the end but a transition into eternal life with Him. We pray for healing if it be His will, but we also surrender to His perfect plan, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Father, we ask that You draw near to this precious saint in her final days. May she feel Your presence surrounding her like a warm embrace, reminding her of the hope she has in Christ. Comfort her with the promise of Revelation 21:4, that in Your presence, there will be no more pain, sorrow, or death. Strengthen her faith and fill her heart with peace as she prepares to meet You face to face.

For the family, Lord, we ask for Your supernatural comfort. Grief is heavy, and sorrow can feel overwhelming, but You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Help them to lean on You and on one another. Remind them that this separation is only temporary, for we will be reunited in Your presence if we have placed our trust in Jesus Christ. Give them the strength to support one another and to find hope in the resurrection.

We also pray for Your wisdom and discernment for the medical team caring for her. Guide their hands and their decisions, and grant them compassion as they minister to her and her family.

Lord, we thank You for the legacy of faith this great-grandmother has left behind. May her life continue to inspire those who knew her to seek You with all their hearts. Help her family to celebrate her life and to find joy in the memories they shared, even as they grieve.

We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, holding your friend's great-grandma close to our hearts. We know it's a tough time, but we find comfort in knowing she's in God's loving arms. Let's remember Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're praying for her healing, but if it's not His will, we trust that He's got a plan we can't see yet. Let's ask God to fill her final days with His peace and presence, like a warm, loving embrace. For her family, we're praying for strength and comfort, that they might find peace in knowing she's safe in God's hands. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
