These small but meaningful provisions remind us of God’s faithful care in every detail of our lives. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). It is clear that God is meeting your needs, and we give Him all the glory for His goodness toward you.

However, we must gently address your request for a boyfriend. While it is natural to desire companionship, Scripture is clear that relationships must be pursued in a way that honors God. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are seeking a relationship, we encourage you to pray for a godly spouse, a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, who will lead you in righteousness, and who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14), meaning that a relationship with someone who does not follow Christ will only lead to spiritual conflict.

We also want to lovingly remind you that intimacy outside of marriage is not God’s design. The Bible calls this fornication and warns against it: "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). If you are currently in a relationship that involves physical intimacy, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, trusting Him to provide a spouse in His perfect timing.

Your desire for happiness and stability is understandable, but true joy comes from God alone. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). We encourage you to seek Him first, trusting that He will provide all that you need, including a home, a godly marriage (if it is His will), and contentment in His presence. The apostle Paul wrote, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content" (Philippians 4:11). Let us pray together for God’s will to be done in your life.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with grateful hearts for the ways You have already blessed . We thank You for restoring her family’s communication, for providing for her needs, and for the joy of her pets. Lord, we ask that You continue to heal her heart and mind, filling her with Your peace and wisdom. We pray for Your guidance as she seeks a godly spouse, one who will love You above all else and lead her in righteousness. Protect her from relationships that do not honor You, and give her patience to wait for Your perfect timing. Provide her with a stable home where she and her cats can thrive, and help her to find true contentment in You alone. May she grow in faith, trusting that You hold her future in Your hands. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

There is much cause to give thanks to God in what you have shared, for He is a God who notices both small mercies and great ones. That your charger is found, that your phone and its case are kept, that your pets are well, that your home has order in its daily things, these are not too small for gratitude. The living soul rejoices with joy unspeakable and gives thanks for all things, and times of pleasure ought to be times of prayer as surely as times of sorrow.

I thank God with you that communication in your family is more peaceful and that you have seen some measure of healing in your mind and daily life. These are tokens of His kindness, and we pray He will continue His gracious work in you. Yet I would gently lead your heart to a still deeper joy. The joy of faith is the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God, and to be filled with joy and peace through believing is far more satisfying than to think or hear about joy alone. He that has joy in the Lord possesses the quintessence of happiness, a wellspring that does not run dry when outward things change. Remember that a man's contentment is in his mind, not in the extent of his possessions, and contentment is one of the flowers of heaven which must be cultivated. Learn with the apostle in whatsoever state you are, therewith to be content, and pray that your contentment may be rooted not in pink chargers or restored channels, though we thank God for them, but in Christ Himself.

You speak of wanting to be happy and of wanting a place for yourself and your two cats, and you speak of wanting a boyfriend. I understand the longing for companionship and for a secure home where you and those entrusted to your care may be comfortable. We will pray for your need for housing, that the Lord in His fatherly providence would open a suitable and peaceful place for you, and that He would provide for you and your cats with kindness.

Concerning companionship, I must speak to you as a faithful minister must. True happiness is not found in simply getting what we ask, but in being found in Christ and walking in His ways. The Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the gift of intimate union and of living together belongs within that covenant alone. For this reason we cannot ask God to bless a relationship formed outside His holy design, nor would it be loving to celebrate what would lead your soul away from His best. Instead we pray that you will find your exceeding joy in the Lord, that you will trust Him with your future, and that if it be His will to bring a husband into your life, it will be a godly man in the Lord's own time, pursued in purity and with a view to that lifelong covenant, and not in haste or in any way that would grieve Him.

Will you always call upon God, in joy and in sorrow alike? That is the touchstone of sincerity. The real Christian prays more than ever when the storm bursts, and he also turns his festivities into devotion. Go on to pray, not only when you have found what was lost, but when you still wait for what you desire. Let prayer be put into the crucible and tested, and be found steadfast. Fear the Lord and you will learn to trust Him, for the fear of the Lord brings quiet confidence in the grandeur of His character.

May the Lord keep you, make you to rejoice in the God of your salvation, and teach you to rejoice in the Lord always, to joy and then to rejoy again in Him. May He cultivate in you that heavenly flower of contentment, supply your needs according to His riches, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and cause your life to be ordered by His Word. We ask that you would look tonight to Jesus and put your trust in Him alone, for there you will have a sufficient wellspring of joy though you have nothing else, and with Him you shall have all things needful in His perfect time.
